~Blue~
I woke up today feeling happy as usual! Why wouldn't I be happy? It was taco Tuesday and another beautiful day full of exciting adventures with the human! I woke up extra early today, just to be sure I had enough time to get dressed, brush my teeth, and make tacos!

But something was off. Something didn't seem right. Papy was standing in the living room staring at the tv. He wasn't even sitting down! I walked over to him, and I felt the tension in the room increase.

"Papy?" I asked, worried.

"Sans, I need to tell you something." Papyrus replied, sounding calm but looking shaken up.

"What is it, Papy?" Blue stared up at his brother, not knowing what was going on.

"I've been meaning to tell you about this for a while, but the time never seemed right..."

Papyrus began to explain to me what an "AU" was. He told me that I wasn't the only me. He told me that there where many different "me"s out there.
" Sans, are you alright? "

"I'm fine... " I lied, wanting to make my brother happy. I felt a little overwhelmed. I had been feeling that way lately, but this put me over the edge. I ran out of the house and went over to the forest.

~Nightmare~
I have been coming to underswap often, it's full of negative energy. I don't know how, or why, but does that really matter? I only need negative feelings to beat my brother, the negative emotions in other AU's don't matter. I only need them for that one single purpose, to beat him.
I looked to my left to see the biggest source of negativity in this entire AU. A little blue skeleton clearly confused, upset, and a little bit of something else, I couldn't quite put my tentacle on it. But something else was there. I made sure I was hidden, and began to talk.

~3rd person~
Blue was towards the edge of the forest when he heard a voice.

" What's wrong? " The voice said, sounding antagonistic and mocking.

Blue was startled, the voice was deep and slightly raspy, he didn't recognize it. That's what made it scary.

"W-who are you, why do you care?!" Blue half yelled, trying to be angry but clearly showing fear.

" Why should I tell you that? Honestly, why can't I just genuinely care? " He sounded mocking in the last part, but Blue didn't understand sarcasm.

" I'm sorry, I raised my voice at you... " Blue apologized to this unknown speaker.

"Don't be, little Blue, don't be." Branches and twigs snapped as this was spoken, which scared Blue slightly.

"Why can't you show yourself? I don't recognize your voice, you aren't from around here are you? "

"Right, indeed, little Blue, I am not from around here. But why do you think I would show myself to you? "

" Because I am the magnificent Sans! " Blues eyes turned to stars as he said this.

" You really are as "magnificent" as I thought. "

"Thank you! " Blue didn't understand sarcasm, he thought it was a compliment.

" How about this, go into the forest, then you'll get a surprise." The voice said, sounding like the speaker was enjoying this, or was playing with a toy.

"Ok...? " Blue did as he was told. Walking for a little while, stopping at a small clearing.

"That's far enough. " Everything stopped. Blue froze. "Turn around."

Blue turned slowly, both scared and excited.
There before him stood a skeleton covered in black goop. The skeleton smiled.

" Hello little Blue. "
