Meeting

~Nightmare~
The little, blue skeleton faced me.

" Hello, little blue. "
I smiled, it was meant to be normal, but it came out menacing.

" H-hi! " His small voice said, trying to sound happy.

I smiled once more. What made this little clueless blueberry so happy? What made him now the biggest source of negative energy in underswap?

" Little Blue, what's wrong? "

" Um...nothing... " He mumbled. " What's your name? "

I frowned, he was asking me a question. I was the one asking the questions.

" My name is Nightmare little Blue. "

" Nice to meet'cha Nightmare! "

" Little Blue, you should know something about me. I feed off negative feelings, I can tell your upset. Why? "

" I'm not upset! Just...a little overwhelmed is all. " He paused for a moment. " How do you eat them? "

" I didn't mean that literally. "

" Oh... "

" I think your upset because of your brother, little Blue. "

That was it, I knew it would trigger something in him.

" W-what do you mean Papy's the reason I'm upset? "

"Well... Your brother didn't tell you of AU's when he learned of them. "

" ... " He was silent, thinking through my words.

" He knew eons ago, yet he chose to tell you now for no reason at all. He is keeping secrets from you, little Blue. "

" ... " Still silent.

" Your brother let you stay unknowing of the AU's. He could've told you, but he didn't, little Blue. He lied. "

" H-he had to of had a reason! "

" But he didn't, little Blue. You can't keep away from the truth. "

~Dream~
I was visiting the underswap AU for the first time in a while. It was a nice change to the constant battling I've had with my brother.

" Wait, is that Nightmare? " I said to myself.

I walked around where Nightmare was and hugged Blue from behind the back.

" Hi Blue! "

He squeaked, jumping at my surprise hug.

" W-who are you?! " He turned and ran towards Nightmare, getting dangerously close to him.

" Sorry, I forgot you don't know me. I'm Dream! Please'd to meet'cha! "

" Brother. " Nightmare sighed.

" Brother. " I sighed as well, trying to keep serious and not giggle.

Blue seemed scared. He was inching closer and closer to Nightmare by the second. By now he was practically up against Nightmare. That was odd, considering Nightmare doesn't let anyone within 2 feet of him without getting skewered.

" Blue, how about you come over to me? " I called to the small skeleton, trying to keep him from danger.

He then did something that was a death sentence for anyone. He grabbed onto Nightmares hood. He looked scared of me when he was touching Nightmare.

" N-nightmare, I'm gonna go tell Papy he should have told me sooner, okay? "

" Sure. "

Blue then hugged Nightmare. Nightmare just froze and let it happen. I could tell he was having a spark of happy feelings in him, and Blue was a little ray of happiness and joy.

~Nightmare~
He hugged me. I didn't know how to respond, so I didn't. My tentacles wanted to shoot out and grab the little skeleton, but instead I began to blush.

" Thank you for showing me my brothers error Nightmare! "

" ... " I couldn't speak, I was just frozen in place, blushing furiously.

Blue ran off to his house and Dream and I stood.

" Can I get a hug? " Dream asked me, dripping in sarcasm.

I glared in response, I wasn't dealing with this annoying brother of mine today.

Dream then popped up behind me and gave me a hug, then disappearing.

" DREAMMMMMM! " I yelled, now radiating with anger and frustration.

~Blue~
I had told my brother what I thought. He didn't like my new friends Dream and Nightmare. He told me they were both dangerous to be around. I got mad at him, told him it wasn't fair. He left in a rage, and teleported away to who knows where. That's when I got a knock on the door.

" Who is it? "

" It's Dream! Can I come in? "

" Yup! Mweh heh heh! "

" Thanks! "

Dream walked in, his cape moving with the gentle breeze of his stride.

" What brings you here? "

" You seemed like you needed a friend. So I wanted to be of help! "

I smiled, this was gonna be fun! New friends always were!

" I haven't been to this AU in a while, do you think you could show me around? "

" Of course! "
