INEFFABLE: Lost And Found

CHAPTER 4

two weeks had passed.

It's just a normal day for me. I turned 18 but walang huge party na magaganap. Just our relatives and friends. Well, I only have one friend.

Exactly 12 midnight, sinurprise kami ng parents namin holding a cake at sabay namin binlow ni Iarrah. After that, bumalik na ako sa pagtulog ko.

I'm now heading to the student council's office to do my duties before class. Lumipas ang 2 weeks na ganito ang routine ko. Hindi ako nabobored because I love what I'm doing and I'm a passionate person.

I opened the door and..

"Happy Birthday, Ms. Secretary!!" Sabay sabay na sigaw ng council.

I  was in the state of shock right now because I didn't expect this. I'm not close to them kung hindi naman related sa organization namin at lalo na't they are complete. Nakukumpleto lang ang org. pag may meeting and projects. But they are here.

I'm happy.

Kahit naman sabihin niyong I'm a cold and heartless person, naaappreciate ko padin naman ang mga bagay and efforts na binibigay ng iba saakin.

Isa isa nila akong binati at nag paalam na may klase padaw sila. Tanging ako, treasurer, president, and of course, the vice president. Kami lang ang natira dito kasi may pag uusapan kami about sa fund raising event na gaganapin.

After ng meeting, nililigpit ko na ang mga gamit ko ng biglang lumapit saakin ang President.

"Happy birthday Ms. Secretary, thank you for your hard work. Hindi ako nag kamali ng pag pili sa'yo." He said and winked at me. Napangiti naman ako.

"Babaero ka talaga Mr. President. Kaya ang dami mong fans e." Natatawang sagot ko sakaniya.

"Are you one of those? Mag papa authograph kaba?" He playfully asked.

"I'm not. By the way, thank you sa pag bati." I said and humarap sa mga ka meeting namin. "There's a small celebration later sa bahay, if you want, you can come." I said smiling at them. Professionally. Of course hindi naman madaling kalimutan ang nangyari between me and the vice but I'm here as their secretary so I must act like one.

"Sorry Sec. Mag c-canvas kami ng mga gagamitin para sa fund raising event." Our president said. Napatango nalang ako. "But I think the VP is available. Anyway, may klase pa ako." Pagkasabi niya 'non, umalis na siya at binati lang ako nung treasurer at sumunod nading umalis.

"So, would you come?" I asked the VP.

"Sorry, I have some errands to finish today. Anyway, Happy birthday." Pagkasabi niya nun, umalis na siya.

I smiled bitterly.

Ano panga bang aasahan ko?

Bago ako lumabas ng Council's room, I called my only friend.

"Are you coming later Sophia?" I asked. We are not in the same school anymore but she used to study here when we were on our Junior High School year. Nag transfer siya sa isang university.

"Of course I will! There's a lot of happenings na dapat mo ikwento. Should I sleep there aswell?" She asked. She seems excited.

"We have class tomorrow." I said. Totoo naman kasi. Kahit gaano ko pa siya gusto makasama, may klase kami tomorrow.

"I'll bring my uniform. Bawal humindi. Okay? I'll hang up. Byeee!" She said at ibinaba na ang linya. She is the only person who knows me well.

Pumasok na ako sa klase ko at ginawa ang part ko bilang estudyante.
