After the gems had arrived at the hospital, Greg grabbed Steven and hold him bridal style all The way from The parking lot to The hospital. Greg was desperately trying to get The nurse to get a doctor right away, Connie told Mr. Universe to follow her to her mom's office.
- MOM MOM! EMERGENCY THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH STEVEN! - Connie burst through the door without knocking in tears.
Her mom was ready to punish Her until she heared Her out and saw Her tears.
- Connie, Dear! Where is he? - Connie's mom asked concerned.
- Outside of The office-
Connie grabbed Her mother's hand and led Her to The exit showing desperate gems on chairs in the hallway and a heartbroken father with his son in his arms.
- We'll take him right away! - Connie's mom shouted out to her assisting nurses.
Connie was so done. She wanted to lay on The floor, kick everything scream as loud as she can and throw a tantrum. She has never seen Steven hurt his gem - in fact! She didnt even know it was possible..He was always Good with defense..Back Then when they were zapped as Stevonnie..Had Connie slowed down his reaction..is this all Her fault..?
Garnet noticed Connie somewhat fixated on a door knob.
- Connie, are you alright? - Garnet asked moving one seat closer to her.
- I... - Garnet noticed that Connie was having trouble speaking.
- I have felt a glimpse of his pain while fused, it was invetible..Pure agony I have never expirienced such pain..- Connie went on, Garnet kissed Her on The forehead and responded in The most calmiest and soothing voice.
- Steven is a diamond after all. Diamond is the strongest ore.- Garnet exclaimed giving Connie a warm smile. Connie was happy with that, she hugged Garnet and thanked her.
- Thank you, I really needed that - Connie exclaimed wiping her tears away.
A couple of hours passed and Connie's mom just advised everyone to go home, Steven has to stay for an observation. Everyone started to head home until Lapis asked something.
- Maybe we should ask diamonds about the weapon, they still have its blueprint. They should know about it..
- THATS A BRILLIANT IDEA! - Connie yelled.
Even Garnet was quite suprised since she havent thought of that.
- Huh, actually not a dumb idea - Peridot added.
- Lets head there right now! - Connie exclaimed.
A few minutes later everyone arrived at Homeworld with a spaceship. (Including Connie)
They were led by a couple of gems to The Diamond Palace.
