The dreamer, of course, cannot do anything as they watch. The soulmate is completely unaware that someone is watching them through dreams at that moment. Some soulmates are across the world, some live in the same town. The ultimate goal is to find yours. Some people stay up at all hours of the day in hopes that their soulmate is seeing what they see. Occasionally, the pair try to communicate through the other person's dream, but there is no sound in these dreams. And now one might ask, what about blind people? They might not be able to see in their own lives, but they do dream and see their soulmates' lives.
