Making my way out of my business class, I see Izzy stood by my locker so I walk over to her.
"Hey Iz."  say, while I put my folder back into my locker.
She puts her phone in her pocket and smiles. "Hey Char."

"Seems like our lockers are next to each other."
I turn around and see Luke, the new boy. He smiles at me, the kind of smile where their eyes bore into your own.
"It seems that way." I let out a light chuckle.

Um... am I flirting? Was that flirting? I'm not sure if I even know how to flirt. No. That was not flirting Charlotte. Stop overthinking it.

He shuts his locker and walks away, and for some reason I'm watching him walk away. But he turns around. "Bye, Lottie." He winks. WINKS. He just winked at me.

Keep it calm Charlotte, he's just a nice boy. Just. Be. Calm.

I turn around and look at Izzy, her jaw nearly reaching the floor. "And, what was that?"
"He was just sat next to me in business, we just spoke a bit. That's all. He's a nice boy." I shrug.
Izzy scoffed. "Charlotte... He just winked at you."
"He might just be a flirty person. Don't forget, we did see him on a date last night with Laura." I rolled my eyes and grabbed my car keys out my bag.

Izzy asked to come over to mine tonight so I told her to wait for me and I'd drive her. So all I'll hear tonight will be about Luke and all this winking business.

Winking isn't that serious, right?

"Come on, lets just get home." I say.

When I get home I notice Logan's car in the driveway, weird. He's never home early on Tuesday's.

"Logan? You home?" I shout load enough hoping he'll hear it from upstairs.

I hear footsteps making their way down the stairs. "Yeah, finished early today."

Izzy smiles. "Hey Logan." She says excitedly.
He smiles back. "Hey."

I make my way to the kitchen to grab a snack.

"Oh, Char. I heard Luke Thomas moved into your year, you met him yet?" Logan mumbles, while filling up his bottle with water.
How does Logan know him?
"Yeah I met him, he's in my business. How do you know him?" I inquire, curiously.
He takes a sip of his drink. "He was in my year at school, but apparently he had to redo sixth form, so he moved to Derringside."

Derringside high is the school I go to, but my mum and dad put me and Logan in two different schools, so Logan knows completely different people to me.

"So, he's -"
Logan cuts me off before I even finish my sentence. "Eighteen, soon to be nineteen. Yes."

Well, he did look a lot older than the boys in my year.

"Why didn't he just drop a year, instead of just redoing sixth form completely?" I say, starting to eat the cookies I made on Friday.
"He wanted to start from scratch and learn everything again."

"Well, anyway. Me and Iz are gunna go upstairs and watch some tv." I grab my phone and make my way to the door.
"Um, Char, why don't we stay down here?"
I shrug and grab a packet of popcorn. "Alright."
Logan takes some of the popcorn and shoves it in his mouth. "Mind if I join you?"
I let out a joking sigh. "Well, if you have to."

I grab the TV remote and switch on Netflix. Izzy wanted to watch the Notebook and Logan wanted to watch something to do with murder and gunmen. No thank you. So I compromise and put The Maze Runner on.

I got the sofa to myself, and Izzy and Logan sat on the other sofa. At least I get to stretch out.

Hiiiii hope you enjoy!
