Everything was going well, Elizabeth was still healthy whilst with her first pregnancy with Henry. She was being taken care for properly as Henry did not want any complications with the child as he need a male heir to then take over him when he dies. However, not everyone liked Henry due to the fact that he dd kill Richard III and was from the house of Lancaster. One of the kings biggest enemies was Lord Lovell.

Lovell was the deceased Richard III's chamberlain and he was infuriated at the fact of Henry overthrowing his lord. He didn't have the respect to call him his sovereign lord due to the fact f the betrayal he had done to the previous king. Henry's throne was far from secure and many Yorkists had been disappointed because of the change of regime and this had angered the York House. 

York did have a powerful ally in Ireland and they had Richard III's sister Margaret, duchess of Burgundy. Due to being the only sibling of the deceased king.

Many tried to get Margaret onto the throne and many failed due to the fact that she was a woman and was inferior than a man

All the powers of Europe also had doubt of Henry's  ability to survive as king and he had many plots against him. Many of the countries in Europe were willingly sheltering claimants against him. As they could then claim the throne of England.

Henry was going through a lot as his wife was pregnant with his first which was rumoured and predicted to be a boy. Henry had to ensure the safety of his child and also the safety of the crown as they were both at risk.

Time went on, Elizabeth was still pregnant with the first child and Henry didn't have any pots that were executed for a while. On the night of the 18th September, Elizabeth was in labour! Elizabeth was taken into her chambers in which the physician and 2 of her ladies were with her to support the birth of her child.
