Lucifer's Confession Part 2

    You began to stir awake as a flash of light momentarily flashed in your eyes. Squinting you peer around your room, Mammon was asleep on your bed a book on alchemy over his face. Levi was seated in the corner his head against the wall a laptop askew on his legs.
"What time is it." You whisper to your self. Grabbing your phone you tap on your screen the harsh light burning your already dry eyes. "Ugh stupid damn light." You stammer angrily. After turning down the brightness you see the time 3:35 am. Groaning you grab your book and note pad and begin a slow painful walk to the kitchen for coffee. Walking in to the dining hall on your way you see Satan.
"You should be sleeping." Satan says removing his glasses. "Humans require a minimum of 6 to 8 hours of sleep to function at a-" Your glare cutting him off. "Coffee." Satan asked.
"Coffee." You say slumping down in a chair. Placing your things on the table you closes your eyes tilting your head back. Smiling you hear Satan place down a cup in front of you. Taking a sip of the hot liquid ,its smooth rich flavour flooded your mouth. "Soooo good." You say softly taking another sip. You hear Satan chuckle as he sits back down across from you. "Has Barbatos sent you those books on the kiss of death yet?" You ask crossing your legs.
"Yes they've just arrived." He said pointing to three books on the table wrapped in brown paper. Standing up you reach over and grab them undoing the string and ripping the paper open.
    "How is Lucifers work coming along?" You ask
    "Most of it is not difficult per say but it is very tedious." Satan said pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. "At least with studies suspended I have manage to get ahead on most of it."
   "Soo hungry....." Beel said holding his stomach. You gave a soft laugh and closed the leather bound book.
  "Come on Beel, I think there is some spicy rainbow pizza left over from dinner." You say
  "I ate it already." Beel said frowning his stomach snarling.
  "Top shelf above the sink there are four boxes of cookies that are about to go stale." Satan said stretching. Smiling Beel took off, shaking your head you went after him to make sure he remebers not to eat the plastic insert, it always gave him horrible heart burn.
"Munch munch munch...... yummy." Beel hummed happily. Beel thankful had emptied the box onto the counter top first then discarded the boxes on the floor. Placing the book down on the table you bend over and pick up the boxes. Throwing them out you look at one of the boxes to see they were Lucifers. Tears fell down your face as you stood perfectly still. Your chest was hurting, as you let out a loud sob.
" I am sorry M/C Satan did not tell me they where your cookies. I'll buy you more." Beel said heartbroken. Looking up at Beel you hug him tightly rubbing your face in his broad chest. "They must have been your favorite. Please forgive me." Beel said embracing you back. Laughing through your tears you tell Beel they were Lucifers.
   "You love him don't you." Beel asked still holding you.
"I do Beel. I never thought I could love an overbearing, sadistic, jerk like him." You say trying to control your tears. "But I do. The worst part is when I gave him a chance he turned away from me." Beel's hug becoming crushingly tight he whispered to you,
  "That's just Lucifer's. He didn't mean it to hurt you. I....I think he...just didn't know what to do." Beel said pulling you away from him. "Do you think he will be mad at me for eating his cookies?" Laughing you wipe away your tears shaking your head no.
   "M/C if Lucifer didn't do it why is there so much evidence." Asked Beel.
   "Because we are meant to think he did." Satan said walking into the kitchen. "If Lucifer actually meant to Kill Lord Diavolo and the angel's he would not have left such an obvious trail behind him, it is sloppy."
   "Good I didn't want Lucifer to go away." Beel said.
   "Well then maybe you should come with us to vist Lucifer today Beel." Satan said.
   "I bet he is hungry I should make him a bento box." Beel said.
   "I'll help Beel." You reply faintly smiling.

   Lucifer lay on his bed his stomach turned angrily. He had not eaten in three days and though he did not need it to survive his body still felt its loss.
"Afternoon Lucifer." Barbatos said. Sitting up he paused, M/C was standing at the bars. His checks flushed red in embarrassment. He did not want her to see him like this.
"What are doing here." Lucifer said. Her small soft smile did not show the hurt her eyes did.
"You could be nice for once Lucifer." Satan said stepping towards the bars with Beel.
"I brought you some food Lucifer." Beel said smiling.
   "Thank you Beel." Luicfer said surprised by the jester. Sitting down in the middle of the floor he open the Bento and began to eat as Satan updated him on current events." Standing Lucifer handed Beel back the empty box.
   "Satan I will also need you to finish my work on case 3366." Lucifer said.
   "Of course." Satan replied nodding. Then he felt M/C's small hand grab his, blushing as he felt her skin with his bare hands for the first time. Satan and Beel walked away leaving him alone with her. Lucifer felt his whole body heat up as she gave his hand a light squeeze. His heart ached as he shook her off.
   "Don't touch me." Lucifer said crossing his arms he looked away. His eyes widened when he felt her hand touch his face. Her eyes were full of tears, her hands warm against his cool skin were intoxicating. He felt her other hand stroke the other side of his face. Lucifer felt himself give into her touch as he closed his eyes his hand covering hers pressing it longingly into his cheek.
   "I miss you." She says pressing her body into the bars trying to get closer to him.
  "I...." Lucifer began. Maybe he thought even as he was it was enough for her. Slipping his arm around her waist he ran a single finger along her bottom lip. He groaned as she took it in her mouth sucking lightly. Her eyes were hooded as he reluctantly took his fingers from her mouth. Licking his lips he felt a hunger deep inside him grow as his body ached. Just one kiss he thought, leaning down he kissed her between the bars. Her lips were how he remeber them, he nipped them hungrily between kisses his insides burned she tasted so sweet. His breath hitched when he felt her trace his hardness threw his thin prisoners uniform. Prisoners uniform! He pulled away quickly backing up into his cell. His hands ball into tight fist on his side. He was so hard it was painful.
   "Lucifer?" Her voice soft almost a whisper.
  "Get out." He said his hands trembling. She took a step back clearly hurt by his words.
   "You can't mean that." She said her voice shaking.
   "I do." Lucifer replied coldly.
   "Why!?" She demanded threw gritted teeth.
   "It was a moment of weakness nothing more." Lucifer replied. She held her hand over her heart and closed her eyes. Lucifer wanted to go to her, to comfort her but he wanted her to be safe even more. Turning she ran, he watched her go. Please he thought do not come back Lucifer knew if the voice wanted to he could hurt her and with his powers gone he could do nothing to stop it.

   You ran your mind a mess of emotion, when you ran into something hard. Falling back you land on your hind end.
   "Sorry, miss are you alright." A voice said. Looking up you saw a white gloved hand extended toward you. Beyond that you saw a tall thin demon dress in an outfit similar to Barbatos. Giving him your hand he helps you up and bows toward you.
"My apologies miss I should have watched where I was going." The voice said. Standing tall once more you look upon the demon his long dark green hair was pulled back into a neat pony tail, his handsome face had a very mature look to it. Smiling at you, his dagger like teeth caused you to jump slightly at there apperance.
"No I am the one that should be apologizing....." You said awaiting his name.
"Ezreal. Barbatos personal assistant and overseer of the jail here." He replied. Taking your hand he kissed it, you repressed the urge to shiver. "I have a feeling you have run the wrong way miss. I would be happy to guide you back to the entrance." Ezreal said. Nodding you follow behind him silently, you freeze suddenly Lucifer cell was the next one. You felt a gloved hand on your lower back,
"This way miss." Ezreal said. Your feet feel heavy as you walk forward. Glacing nervously sideways into Lucifer cell you see him standing there, rage filled his expression. He angrily rushed toward the bars causing you to hurriedly back up loosing your footing. Long thin arms catch you bring you into a small boney chest.
"Lucifer that is quite enough. Behave yourself or you will be punished. Do not worry miss I can easily protect you from this brute." Ezreal says trying to hold you closer.
   "Let me go." You say squirming out of his grasp. Bowing toward you in apology he place his hand once more on your lower back and guides you forward and away.
"M/C are you alright, your pale." Beel said taking your hands. "What happened?"
"It seems the little miss got turned around. So I showed her the way back." Ezreal said
"Thank you Ezreal you may return to your duties." Barbatos replied
"Miss if I may apologize once more for endangering you. Had I realized Lucifer would have attacked you like that I would have shielded you much better." Ezreal said bowing once more.
   "Lucifer attacked you!" Satan said surprised.
  "No. It was a misunderstanding, he would never." You reply
"So then he tried to attack my assistant?" Barbatos asked "Ezreal carry out his punishment for the infraction."
"No Barbatos please." You beg "Lucifer was upset! He just charged the bar, he never touch us."
"Sorry M/C. Lucifer is well aware of my rules. I can not make exceptions." Barbatos stated.
   "The little miss is right we were not harmed during this instance." Ezreal began.
  "Are you questioning my judgement?" Barbatos asked calmly.
  "Of course not I will carry out the punishment right away." Ezreal said bowing once more he left.
