New Haven appeared to be like any other town in the state of New York. It wasn’t a big, bustling city. Rather, it was a medium-sized community built within extensive forests. Centuries ago, settlers discovered these extensive forests and partook in what nature had to offer them. Trees were abundant, so therefore wood was abundant to build all sorts of things. Quickly, houses were built, and a small town was established. As years went on, New Haven expanded and grew to accommodate all sorts of people. People of all trades, all backgrounds, and all steps of life could be found within New Haven, and it’s popularity grew.
The settlers that originally founded New Haven were special. Sure, they were human, but they were not ordinary. Each settler brought a special ability to New Haven, something that most humans would consider out of the ordinary, or, if you will, a superpower. These settlers came from the English countryside, though that was not the only place these superpowered humans could be found. They were all over the place; practically every continent had several communities of these people, except for America. That was the inspiration of these settlers. They wanted to start a new community in America around the time settlers were streaming to see what this new land had to offer. It was exciting, inviting, and thus, the birth of New Haven occurred.
When the settlers arrived in America, they searched for a place that could accommodate all of their needs, and their powers. Some could fly, some were incredible fast or incredibly strong, some had the power to become invisible upon will, some could shift into anything they wanted to, some were able to move things with their mind, and some were able to control and manipulate plants. The extensive forests in upstate New York were perfect for their new community, as agreed upon by all the settlers. Once they had begun working on building their new town, things became easy. They were able to work together to achieve what they wanted.
In the present day, New Haven is strong, yet fragile. Evil forces are at work to destroy, not only New Haven, but the other communities around the world as well. Thus, our story begins.
