*Third person perspective
As the weeks go by Aurora and Leo continue to enter as friends would, but Aurora still can't get the day he offered to hug her. She wished she had said something different, yes would have been ideal, but you can't control the past. They would see each other after school, during school, and there are many funny things that happen. The time Leo spilled water all over his white shirt, making a see through section, and slid across the floor, refusing to stand up. The time Isaiah stole Leo's shoe, and ran away with it, telling Leo to kiss Aurora if he wanted it back. In the end Leo just walked away with one shoe, and Isaiah gave the shoe to Aurora, who chased Leo to give it back. But, they didn't seem to get any closer, they really were just friends. Aurora began to accept that, so of course, we have to raise her hopes again!
*Aurora's P.O.V
After school on Wednesdays I don't have ballet, it's the only day after school I don't have ballet class actually, so I sit in the grass and wait for my mom to come. I sat down and Leo walked over to me. We began the usual chit chatting, cracking jokes, horrible ones, fake making fun of each other, what we usually do.
"Hey," he said as he walked over.
"Hey Leo!" I answered in my usual happy tone.
"Where's your boyfriend?"He asked jokingly.
"Ugh, I don't have one Leo!" I responded as I lightly smacked him.
"Oh right, you will be alone forever," he said with a grin. Ouch.
"Oh shut up, you don't have a girlfriend do you?"I shot back with an, "oh really?" look on my face.
"Yeah, but at least I won't be alone forever," he smirked.
"Awww, why do you hate me? There's nothing wrong with me," I pouted, fake upset written all over my face.
"I don't hate you, and yes there is."
"Hey! That's mean. What is it?" I was ready for him to play insult me, but instead, he said
"Your not Russian." Waaaaait what?
"That's out of my control!"
"There tons of things wrong with you. Three hundred." Oh boy, this is gonna hurt.
"Like what?" I mentally prepared myself.
"Your not Russian, your not Russian, your not Russian, your American," So he isn't going to insult my personality or appearance?
"Shall I continue?" He asked.
"Nah, I get you point" I said, but in my head, I was having an internal battle. One part of me was like, you guys are just messing around, you're overthinking this! You're going to get hurt Aurora! The other part said, he didn't insult you, he doesn't think anything is wrong with you, he practically thinks your perfect! He has to like you back! But the first side won, I went back to thinking, we are just friends. We kept talking for a bit, then he had to go.
"Oh! That's my mom's car, bye Aurora!"
"Bye! See you tomorrow!" As he got into his car I thought, what just happened?
