Chapter 2

A cold bath has always been refreshing- yes, sure is weird to say but this vampire enjoyed it. Even if he's a human, he would probably the same. Who knows. The bi-colored male shook his head, getting rid of the droplets of water left in his hair and wore his hoodie as well with a pair of white trousers, looking inside the kitchen where his beloved werewolf was cooking.

The foods smelt so great. Yet Shoto couldn't enjoy them, how unfortunate.

Even so, Shoto wrapped his arms around the other's waist from behind, resting his chin on the ash-blonde shoulder. Inhaling his scents while so. Katsuki flinched by such random behavior. His face turned red after.

"You smell so great, Katsuki," Shoto whispered. He was expecting a bashful sight and embarrassing words- but no, the ash-blond werewolf suddenly smacked the other's face with one of the blood pack. Shoto startled by the process, taking it off his face with a blink.

"You haven't drink any blood yet, of course, I smell great to you! Now drink that shit!" Katsuki growled, continued stirring the food on the pan. Now with rage. Just a matter of time the food will be thrown out from it.

"Alright...mother," Shoto blurted out. Which triggered Katsuki as he immediately turned to face the vampire. "The fuck did you just say-?!"

"Remind me of my eating time, and you always cared about me. You're like a mother to me. I've forgotten how it's like to have one. I just knew it she behaved like that," Shoto said, putting in a straw inside the blood pack.

Katsuki was taken aback by his words. Lost in his thoughts before his nose smelt something burning. He turned around and eyes widened to the meal in the pan, straight away turning off the fire and serve it in a plate. Shoto just watched how panicking Katsuki was.

"Is it still edible?" Shoto asked, sipping the blood.

"It fucking is! It was your fault to suddenly spit out nonsense in the first place- you damned halfie," Katsuki grunted, shoving in the spoon of food into his mouth and chewed angrily. Shoto chuckled slightly, watching the other eat while so.

"You've really fucking smile a lot this lately, don't cha?" Katsuki huffed, chewing on his food.

That made Shoto paused his drink, cocked his head to his shoulder.

"Not to brag- I don't fucking know if you do with someone else either but what I see, you only fucking smile when you're with me." Katsuki slowly turned away, avoiding eye contact since the shed of pink starting to become visible on his cheeks.

"You observed me quite much, don't you?" Shoto teased.

"What- we literally live in the same goddamn house damnit!" Katsuki exclaimed, hiding his fluster.

"That's not wrong. How can't I smile when you're with me, all embarrassed just because of me?" Shoto spoke once more, smiling slightly to the other male. That almost made Katsuki nearly choked on his food, he stared on the vampire with his cherry-red face.

"You and your fucking smooth words..." Katsuki grumbled, started to eat on his food a lot slower now.

"Katsuki. Do you want to try out human's work?"

The question started Katsuki. Now they're on the couch, head leaned on each other. "Your shitty business is like the thing in a huge building wasn't? I've known it from the tv," Katsuki spoke.

Shoto blinked. "I'm surprised you'd know, but I'll teach you more about it later."

"Yeah sure whatever- I'm a fucking fast learner. I'll be the best staff you ever had," Katsuki smirked. "I'm- still surprised you'd agree," Shoto admitted. Usually, Katsuki won't involve himself in something like this, what has made him changed his mind?

"You've fucking done so much for me yet I'm living here for free. Besides- I fucking take this as a challenge!" He claimed. Shoto grinned slightly, pulling Katsuki close to him. "You can pay me with something else, though..."

"What the fuck are you-" Realizing what Shoto was talking about, his face turned red and he barked. "You pervert vampire- stop teasing me for fuck sake!!!!"

"Shoto, we will go very far from here. To search for our real happiness. I can't hold it longer to stay here and let him do such a thing to you. We will run together, "

A female voice, filled with sadness and fear has spoken the words. Bruises on her face and her bleeding lips from a very harsh slap. The small bi-color haired child had tears filled his eyes, he disliked it so much to see his mother this way.

"Where will we go, mama?" Shoto asked. His tiny hand was gripped on her mother's dress. Fresh cuts and bruises were all over the little vampire's self. He was trembling in fear.

"Anywhere, I promise I'll have you by my side, " The mother shed her tears, holding her son's hands tightly in her hands. "Let's go, before anyone noticed our disappearance, "

The human mother carried her son in her arms, heading her step to run through the hallway. Both mother and the child had decided to escape the palace, away from the ruthless husband or father.

The mother went to the room of her daughter next, walking her up from her sleep and now running as well with her. Going to the bedroom of her more two sons. They've had a spell of closing their scents from the vampires, but they knew it won't last long.

"Mama, behind you!!!"
