Bloodlust Dystopia: Loving You Further (Shoto Todoroki x Katsuki Bakugo)

Chapter 5

"You're a weirdo," Katsuki scoffed, rolling his eyes. Shoto pouted with that response. He let out a sigh before smiling at the ash-blond. Maybe this is his only chance to make friends- even with a werewolf who has such a shitty attitude. 

"Even though it wasn't very....but- nice to meet you. I'm Shoto," The bi-colored boy gave his hand to Katsuki. It took a few seconds for the ash-blond to stare on the other male's hand before answering it with a quick and harsh handshake. He pulled back his hand quickly afterward. 

"Katsuki- no shitty nickname or what fucking ever, only Katsuki," Katsuki claimed. 

Shoto was confused about that. He didn't even think of giving the other any nickname- oh well. He'll keep that in mind to not make this boy angry even further. 

"Alright....are we friends now?" 

That sudden claim made Katsuki's eyes widened. Speechless in surprise. The fuck is this vampire on about, really? He is indeed a damn weirdo-

"Ha? I'm pretty sure you didn't fell on your fucking head earlier to be this moron- I'm not a friend of anyone! Especially you!" Katsuki pointed eagerly. The only person who declared this angry werewolf boi was the cursed Deku, even though Katsuki had never approved that. 

Shoto felt himself as if being stabbed by the sharpest spear before frowning more and suddenly yelled. "I'll make you my friend no matter what! Idiot werewolf!" 

"The heck- YOU'RE PLANNING ON MAKING ME YOUR FRIEND THROUGH THAT WAY?!" 

"Shut up! I'll think out as something and make you my friend surely!

"THAT'LL FUCKING OBVIOUSLY NOT GONNA HAPPEN!" 

The two stared onto each other, eyes narrowed with eyebrows furrowing. Oh, how they annoyed with each other and wanted to kill so much- yet neither of them made any move. Nor beating or trying to kill for real. 

"What kind of meat do you like to eat?" Shoto asked out of nowhere, going closer to the small werewolf with an eagerly look. Seems like he was going to try his best to make this grumpy kid his friend- Katsuki blinked in surprise. 

"Uhh, deer?" Katsuki responded in confusion. He was somehow curious of what method this vampire will try. 

"I'll help you hunt a deer!" Shoto exclaimed. "Huh? A shithead like you who tried helping a bird, wanna hunt animal?" Katsuki snorted. 

"That's total different things! Little birdie is still little. Deer is an adult," Shoto explained, pouting. Standing up, having the coat carefully covering himself and walked ahead. "I'll hunt one for you and you have to be my friend after that," He spoke out, going ahead. Katsuki quickly stood and catch up for the other. "Hey! Ya think I'm going to eat shit you caught?! You might give me an already diseased deer!" Katsuki yelled. 

"I don't care! You'll certainly be my friend if I prove it!" Shoto spoke, making his own conclusion. "Says fucking who?!!" 

The two went deeper into the forest, searching over for a nearby animals. Katsuki was beyond confused, why was this damned vampire so hyped to be his friend? He had Shitty Deku and Weird Hair as his friends- they're such a pain in the ass and nuisances to be exact. And he will soon need to add his bother?

"You do fucking realize you're just getting closer to my village, don't you? Just return and stop making your parents worry, goddamnit-" 

Shoto's steps paused with that, his expression changed. He hissed, walking ahead even faster. "I don't wanna go home-"

Katsuki raised an eyebrow. "Being rebellious in such age? Ya still a century earlier for that! Your place is a hell or something?!" Katsuki exclaimed, grabbing the other's wrist. However, what Katsuki sees next was beyond his thought. This vampire looked so scared. As if, his home was a very terrifying place to go. It probably was hell indeed.

 Then, the bushes was moving and Shoto pulled back his hand quickly. "There's something in there, Ill catch it!" He spoke and ran to it. 

"Oi!" Katsuki yelled out. How annoying, this vampire was doing it on purpose to avoid his question-

Pushing the bush to the side, it only revealed a slittering snake, which made the vampire's expression turned paler than before. A scream echoed. "A-A SNAKE!!!!" 

Katsuki rushed to the vampire's side, eyes falling to the moving snake. It was venomous, but how strange to see a vampire afraid of a snake. His behaviour was like a human. Without hesitatement, Katsuki stepped on the snake before it could escape, holding under his head and ripped the snake into two before throwing it away. He turned to look at the now trembling vampire and hissed. "You're definitely a weirdo." 

Shoto uncovered his eyes from his arms, pouted at the ash-blond. "A scaredy-cat weirdo to be exact," He scoffed once more. Shoto frowned even more, feeling angry instead of sadness. "I don't have to be strong if I don't want to," He mumbled. 

"The fuck you're talking about? Of course you need to be strong! Ya want to die early?" 

"I-I still can survive without being strong!" Shoto insisted on giving out his points. Katsuki's eyebrows twitched in annoyance. 

"You're saying by using your damn brain? Heh, I can't see anything but a dumbass inside you," This time, anger was no longer taking himself. Sadness it is. The vampire's eyes teary which made the ash-blond flinched on such sight. 

"D-Don't tell me you're going to-?!"

And there's it. Shoto had started crying. Not very loudly but was still hearable by this small werewolf. Katsuki became panicked, what was fate trying to do meeting him with such a weird vampire, really?! 

"Don't cry, damnit! It's annoying!!!" That just made Shoto cried even more, sobbing non stopped. Katsuki quickly looked around for solution, but seeing nothing than grasses, dirts, tiny rocks and trees made him frustrated. "You're strong, goddamnit! You tried to save that damned bird so you're strong! Your heart is!!!!" 

Katsuki yelled without thinking. Or just stating out what had came across his mind to be particular.
