Bloodlust Dystopia: Loving You Further (Shoto Todoroki x Katsuki Bakugo)

Chapter 3

Shoto instantly had been woken up from his dream. It really has been a while he had a flashback of his memories as a nightmare...however, it happened again. Tonight. He had the thought he only does when he was clueless or in an anxious state. Even after everything became peaceful again, he had once again had this dream. Shoto was left in quiet awe. Tiny droplets of sweat visible on his forehead. Shoto turned over to the other side of the bed, drowning in his own thought. This vampire was rather calm even though he just remembered his terrifying past...but, was he? Was he really calm beneath his expressionless mask?

The dream can be a warning, of his kingdom's peaceful hasn't yet to achieve?

"....Oi, you alright?"

The sudden voice made Shoto flinched. Oh, right. His lover was sleeping next to him, he tried his best to stay quiet to not waking up the werewolf from his slumber. Though his effort failed once hearing the ash-blond's concerned voice. The vampire calmed himself before turning over to face Katsuki. They'll need to wake up early tomorrow. Not only that, but they'll also meet his human brother- Natsuo. They haven't met each other for years, he was the person who took care of their family's company as well as Momo.

"I'm fine. Did I bothered your sleep?" The vampire's asking tone was soft. He could forget every painful memory just by seeing the sight of his lover.

"Tch, you're not. But you suddenly woke up straight from the bed startled me," Katsuki clicked his tongue. His ears flicked once. "You had a nightmare or shit?" He asked once more.

"Just a dream. We need to sleep again, we might wake up late for tomorrow." Shoto mumbled, his finger pointed to the werewolf's forehead. Katsuki threatened to bite it, Shoto was quick enough to pull back his finger. "Whatever," Katsuki huffed before plopped himself back on the bed. Once the vampire does the same, Katsuki swifted his arm to hug the other male close to him. Shoto was surprised by this act.

"M-My old hag has always done this when I have a nightmare when I was a child...she said, in this time the person needs comfort and affection the most-

Don't fucking take this as an advantage to do anything on me," The ash-blond quickly growled, stroking his hand on the vampire's bi-colored hair. Who knew Katsuki could be this gentle and affectionate? Well, no reason to question it. Shoto was the only one who has the luxury to see it, and he was happy. He closes his eyes, snuggling close to the other male. He wasn't the one who loves warmth. However, Katsuki's warmth surely the only thing placed him in ease.

Meanwhile, Katsuki was wondering what has made Shoto this way. Was such nightmare too much for him to bear? Come to think of it...Shoto had never told him anything about himself. Surely everything about this werewolf was known to Shoto as they have known each other since their childhood, but as also his childhood friend, Katsuki was supposed to be the same. Knowing what has been bothering Shoto and other things about him.

What caused him to have his scar, what really happened between his father and him, also his family. Shoto never said anything, even a word. This vampire was so secretive. He wouldn't even say a thing about the nightmare he just had. Nonetheless, Katsuki avoided asking further.

This frustrated Katsuki so much. He wanted to be able to heal Shoto and give this vampire as much comfort as to how the other male has given him. To prove he really loved this vampire. A tiny sigh escaped his lips, his chin rested on the vampire's head.

"Sleep well, Shoto."

"Holy shit. This building is as big as the fucking mall we had been before, and this whole place is goddamn yours?!" Katsuki spoke in surprise. Astonishment was hidden along with it.

"You need to fix your wording here to be a good staff, Katsuki. And, this is my company's, not mine." Shoto corrected.

"Isn't that the fucking same?!!"

Before Shoto could respond to that, a female figure also with a male headed their steps toward the two. The male raised his hand to give a wave and the female gave a polite bow.

"Shoto! It has been really long time isn't? Good to see you're fine." Natsuo gave a smile, he looked as cheerful as ever. It was difficult to believe this man was in the same terrifying night as Shoto years ago.

Katsuki looked, his hands shoved into his pocket. He did remember how surprised he was after Shoto suddenly told about his human brother. He did know Shoto's mother was a human, he only thought Shoto only have a sister.

"Greetings Todoroki-san, Bakugo-san. The same goes for me, it's such a relief to see you two are doing alright.

This company was in good condition despite your absence. I and your brother have tried our best to kept the profit high and our investments successful. Though, it perhaps wasn't as good as you when you're in the lead."

Shoto also gave a smile. He knew it he could rely on both of them. From now on, he'll take duty on both responsibilities, alongside Katsuki who is willing to give him a hand.

"I'm glad I had relied upon this to you two. A simple thank wouldn't be enough to show my gratitude. How about I treat you two for a drink? We can do a small discussion while so.

I'll be teaching you on how to start too, Katsuki."
