7) Kaoru's Evil Beach Plan

Your POV:
"What was he talking to you about?" you ask him as you begin to walk to the beach together. "Oh, nothing," says Kaoru, looking down at your beautiful face, "just telling me how he's going to toss me into a volcano if I ever break your heart," he says, bursting out laughing, not able to hold it in any longer.

Loving the sound of his laugh, you smile back up him as you both enter the sandy part of the beach and make your way down the the water. "I don't think he'll ever be able to do that," you say sweetly, and Kaoru nods, still smiling at the thought. "Today was crazy, wasn't it?" he says, stopping for a moment to take off his shoes.

You do the same, and feel kinda silly with your dress still on at the beach. "Yeah, it was," you admit, "though seeing Hikaru like that was pretty funny."

"You're right, but the concerning part is that it suited him," says your boyfriend, taking your hand as you walk down the shore. The sun has just begun its descent in the familiar blue sky, already being streaked with dashes of pinks and purples.

Thankfully, the sand is not burning, like it is during the day, and the beach is considerably empty, being that it is not busy season or a weekend. "Why did you want to come here?" you ask curiously, shivering a little as the cold salt water comes up from the sea and envelops your feet with its wetness.

Shrugging, Kaoru holds his hand a little tighter and says, "I thought it would be peaceful." For a while, you both argue about silly things, like whether the correct way to make cereal in is cereal before milk or milk before cereal, followed by whether or not there was enough room on the board for Jack in Titanic, which you both watched together the previous week.

Afterwards, the sun is now just starting to set and you both stop and stare up at how pretty the sky looks. "It's so pretty," you say, widening your eyes with hope. You've never been down to the beach at dusk, and it's more stunning than you could've ever imagined.

"Just like you," says Kaoru, and you roll your eyes and say, "of course you had to say something cheesy like that." He shrugs and admits that it's his specialty, and you playfully shove him, his smile wide as he stumbles back on the sand. Getting up, he playfully shoves you back, maybe a bit too hard, because you can't regain your balance and fall into the water. A huge wave crashes, and it's wake is bigger than most, and now your yellow dress is soaked.

"I'm sorry!" he says, truly concerned, and you just giggle, still failing to stand up, and say, "it's okay."

Finally helping you, you finally realize how soaked and sandy your dress is and feel a slight chill as a breeze blows by. Shivering a little, Kaoru notices this and suggests that you both should maybe go and take a break.

The gusts of wind become more frequent, and you press your lips together so your teeth don't chatter, not wanting to worry him. "Y/n, you're so cold," he says honestly, and you shake your head and shakily say, "no I'm not."

"Yes you are," he says, smiling at your defiance, and you both sit on the sand together. "I'm okay, really," you lie, feeling the cold prick your skin even more, and curiously watch as he undoes his uniform jacket. "Why are you taking your uniform off?" you ask, now slightly embarrassed.

Of course, he's your boyfriend but you can't help but being slightly turned on by the sight of him shirtless, his toned muscles showing. Clearly, he isn't buff or anything, but he just looks so perfect. "Here," he says, sticking out his clothes for you.
