*Short chapter.

Catalaya's POV

I was tired.

I didn't know if it was day or night or how long I've been here.

After they took the video and beat me, they chained me back to the bed.

I kept my eyes closed. I haven't eaten in-I don't even know how long.

My body was done.

I felt hopeless. I heard the door open a couple times. Whoever came in tried to force me to eat or drink, but I couldn't keep anything down and that was if I even bothered to try.

One of the guards left the room but didn't close the door all they way. I could hear him talking to the other one.

"I don't think she's going to make it." He said.

"Not our problem Jaxon."

I could hear him sigh.

"I didn't sign up for this Beck."

The man then said some choice words and left. A few minutes later the guy came back in. He was my age at the oldest. He looked young.

"Listen to me. I don't know who you are but if I knew this was part of the job, I would've never signed up."

I looked into his light honey colored eyes.

"Help me."

"How? I'm nobody."

He brought the water to my mouth and I drank.

I gave him my address. My family must be there. They wouldn't give up on me.

He nodded and left back to the door.

A new sense of hope coursed through me.

I just had to hold on a bit longer.

Jaxon's POV

I stood by her door waiting to be released.

I couldn't be suspicious, or they would definitely kill me.

Beck came back down.

"Did she eat?"

I shook my head no but said that she drank some water.

He waved me off telling me to go home.

I strutted down the hall and to the back door. They wanted to avoid suspicious behavior, so all the men left through the back service entrance that led into the alley.

Everyone parked at the big parking garage down the street.

I got into the car and quickly turned my GPS offline, so it couldn't be traced. I typed in the address she gave me.

I pulled up to a nice apartment building.

She told me that it was apartment 709.

I got into the elevator and rode up to the 7th floor. I went past every door until I got the 709.

My hands were clammy.

I knocked on the door and an older woman opened the door.

"I'm sorry to bother you ma'am." I gulped and looked both ways down the hall.

"I'm here to speak with you about a girl. Brown hair to her back, green eyes about 5'2."

I was yanked into the apartment and thrown against the wall by a man a few inches taller than me.

"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU AND WHERE IS CATALAYA?"

"I don't know her name." I said.

He looked at me confused and pulled off me.

"How old are you?"

"20. Look, I don't know her name or anything about her. Just that he is using her. But I don't think she has much longer."

"Why are you here?" A familiar man came into view.

"I know you." I said.

He looked at me and shook his head.

"Virginia! You gave me money to get your information on a man."

Realization hit him.

"Jason?"

"Jaxon."

"Sorry, what do you know about Catalaya?"

"Beck is a friend. He told me that this guy was hiring people to protect an 'asset'. I know how to shoot and I have no family or anything, so they took me on. About a week ago, I was assigned to the asset. She's gorgeous."

Both men growled.

"Not like that. She's gorgeous but she was tied up and beaten. For an 'asset' they were treating her like shit. I've done things for food and money but children and women were always a no for me."

"Continue." The brother said.

"Anyway, she's deteriorating. Fast. We haven't gotten her to eat and earlier he did the video, but she spit at the camera and it pissed him off. Him and a few of the other guards beat her badly. They tied her to the mattress but I couldn't help her. I don't know how to help her.

She asked me for help, I wanted to get her out, you have to believe me. But they would notice me. There's too many and the inside is set up like a maze."

"Will you help us?" The older woman asked.

"I can give you the layout, the guard shifts, the guard counts during the day and where she is. But that's all I know. I don't know his plan, I'm a nobody." I said.

The brother put his hand on my shoulder.

"If we get her out, you wont have to worry about anything. We'll take care of you."

I nodded.

"I have to go. I have to get to the guard house before the suspect anything."

I hurried up and drew a floor plan of the entire warehouse and where she was. I put an X at every guard spot during the day and how many were there and when they switched out for lunch and breaks.

I told them that they would have to do it while it was still light out because after I leave they switch positions and I have no idea what they're like at night.

They handed me Rico's phone. That way they could track me and be able to get me out of there as well.

I told them not to worry about me. That once everything starts, I will get to her and get her loose.

I owed it to her.

I was going to help save her.
