Adriana's P.O.V.

"So this is it then!". My mother said as she hugged me tightly against her warm chest.

"Mum it's not like I'm going forever, I'm gone come and visit you, and your gone come to Madrid and visit me", I said happily but couldn't hold back the tears.

"I just can't believe that you're gone go and start your own life, I'm gone miss you so much, my little girl", my mother said through sadness, and tears started falling from her ice blue eyes. "Your little girl is not little anymore mum, I will be fine, besides you know this has always been my dream. To go and live in Madrid, I'm just sad you are not coming with me". I told my mum without loosing eye contact with her. "No honey, I think me staying in London is the best idea, besides its your dream not mine, so have a safe flight and don't forget to call me when you arrive in Madrid!". " I won't forget to call you mum and remember that I love you", I said as I hurried to the plane that was due to leave in 10 minutes.

*arrived at Barajas airport*

The airport was massive, there were people talking Spanish all around me, it was unfamiliar. I went and got my 2 suitcases and walked towards the 'Exit' sign. I saw a taxi, so I went and the driver placed my suitcases in the back of the car. "Donde perderse señorita?" " Avenida del General Peron 4, señor". I am capable of speaking 3 languages: English, French, Spanish and a bit of German. The taxi ride was only 20 minutes but time flew by for me, I was busy looking round the city. It was breathtaking, one of the things I love about Madrid is that it's a simple yet rich city with history and pride. We finally arrived, and I could see what seemed like my flat from a few metres away. It was beautiful. " Cuánto tengo que pagar?" ( how much do I have to pay?) " €20 por favour señorita". I payed the driver and I walked towards my flat, the streets were cleaned which made me even happier but you couldn't see the happy expression that I was feelings, because I was carrying 2 heavy suitcases behind me, plus a backpack. I was nearing towards my house, but one of the wheels of the suitcase seemed to be stuck and it didn't move. " Oh wow, it had to break right now didn't it!! For god's sake" I was pissed so I just stood there and kicked the suitcase, which wasn't the best option but I had to take my anger out! " Kicking the suitcase isn't going to help things!" Girlll, all I could think about was that raspy but soft voice of the man that just spoke!!
