Chapter 10

Sergio's POV
Around 2:00pm my doorbell rang. I went to see who it was and when I opened the door Iker was standing there, his hands rolled across his chest.

"Hey bro, what's up? Why didn't you come training today?", he seemed confused but when he saw the state of my house, he had an I-understand-what's-going-on face.

"Just come in, I will tell you everything inside", we walked back to my living room which was not at its best state and sat down on the leather couch.

"So...?", Iker was like a big brother to me. He has always been there for me, from a young age we have grown up with each other.

"I messed up everything man, and I got drank yesterday to forget about what happened hence the reason why I didn't come training today".
"What'd do you mean 'you messed up'?", Iker seemed furious and confused.
"Has it got to do with Adriana?", it seemed like Iker knew everything, even though I didn't tell him anything yet.
"Yes, it's got to do with Adriana, it all happened so fast, it just took a flip and now I am here with a hangover and on of the biggest regrets ever", I felt like the tears couldn't battle the fight with my eyes and they were about to give up and just pour down like a waterfall.

"What do you mean 'it happened so fast, what did you do?", Iker was now getting even more confused and I didn't know how to say it cause I know he's gone give me one of his big speeches.

"Okay... Well it happened yesterday night around 11:00pm. I was watching TV, when I got a call from Adriana. I picked it up and all I could hear was her asking me to go and help her.
I knew that she was crying and that she was scared.

She told me that there's someone outside her door kicking it and it made her scared", I could continue, I felt like my heart wanted to come out and just run away, I didn't want to imagine the pain that my girl was going through.
"And then...?", Iker was starting to understand me and it made tents much more easier.
"So I basically ran my way to her house, and I saw some drunken dude kicking her door and punching it. I got pissed and went up to him and started kicking him and punching him.

I didn't want to kill him kill, him, so i stopped after a while and to.d him to run a peak before he dies.
After a few seconds I told Adriana that it's me outside the door and she opened it and...", I was now smiling like an idiot.

I remembered how she felt in my arms. When I think of her soft arms wrapped around my neck, and the way she smelled, just like pure vanilla.

"I swear to god man, if you keep on stopping I am gone start punching the shot out of", Iker wanted to know what happened so I stopped smiling and continued.

"She opened the door and she literally jumped in my arms and hugged me so tight, as if it was the end of the world. I liked it though.

Then I went into her house and she just let go of my arms and stepped back.

She seemed embarrassed so I just went and kissed her", I was kinda embarrassed of what I did, but it felt right.
"Then I told her that I liked her and she kind of was silent at first. But then she started talking and said that she think that we should be just friends. She stuttered a lot when she was speaking".
I wanted to know the reason to her reply, I felt like she stepped on my heart, I didn't want to hear those words form her.
I am Sergio Ramos, no one said a no to me.

"Mate you really did get in there quick, you just met the girl a few days ago, you can't tell her that you like her that quickly, but I d know one thing for sure, it's that she likes you".

Iker was smiling when he said that and it made me mind of confused. Adriana said that she only wanted to be friends with me, so how does she like me?
"Iker she said she just wants to be friends with me", I said bluntly and looked down.

"That's when I am here to go you advice, the thing is my man that's the game that women play, even though they don't know that they are playing it. They reject you at first to not seem desperate but in their kinda they want you really badly", Iker was smirking and he sounded so sure.

"And you know that how?", I was kind of surprised to hear that from Iker, I mean he's got a family and everything so how does he know all ths?
"I know this my man because I've been through this, do you think convincing Sarah onto going out with me was easy? No! I worked hard to make her my girl and you have to work hard too Chico!".

I was starting to get what Iker was saying. So it turns out that Adriana in fact likes me but doesn't want to admit it. Well if that's the case then I will play join the game, 2 can play a game right!?

I was now thinking of a plan to get make Adriana mine, and believe me it won't be easy but after all they call me Sergio Ramos for a reason. I will make Adriana Carvalho my girl.
