nini's pov i finished watching another rerun of some disney shows when i got a message from ricky. it's our 3 month anniversary and he said that we couldn't do anything because his dad needed him to help with something which sucked.

a big smile grew on my face as i read the texts. i texted back asking what i should wear and where we're going but he wouldn't tell me where. he told me to wear something comfortable so i began rummaging through my closet for something cute but comfortable

she finally found the sweater she was looking for, a stripped turtle neck to keep her warm just in case they were somewhere cold. || time skip to 5 || nini was pacing around her room wondering what ricky and her could possibly be doing. she waited and waited peeking out of her windows every few moments when she finally heard his car. she waited a moment before going down stairs to make it seem as if she wasn't peeking out her window as he pulled into her driveway. when her mom called her name signifying he was there she ran down. he had two bouquets of flowers, one for her and the other for her moms, handing them off to momma c. they left the house as she begged to know where they were going.
||time skip to when they get there|| (sorry i'm lazy and it's also 3 am oops)
as they park on the side of the hill nini is confused until ricky leads her up the hill where she finds a picnic all laid out for the two of them. they just say together in each others presence for a while, not saying much but enjoying the company. "you know i love you, right? i know i couldn't say it before but-" he got cut of by nini's lips smashing into his. "i love you too bowen, and it's ok you didn't say it then because if you did we wouldn't be here right now."
