Milana's POV.

After seventy five agonizingly boring minutes of world history, Jasmine and I headed for the next class which was gym. It was held at the school field today since we were just concentrating on running, according to Jasmine.

We went to the girls locker room to change into the sport wear that I collected from Margaret earlier, it consisted of a long sleeved, flimsy, orange and white shirt with a pair of orange gym shorts.

''So do you like sports?'' Jasmine asked as we walked towards where all the others were doing  their stretches.

''I thought you would deduce that I don't from my awful running, ''I laughed before hearing a loud voice yell at us from across the field where everyone was stretching.

''Would you two get your sorry selves over here before I  drag you over here myself, '' the bald man with the whistle yelled.

''That's Coach Blight he takes sports very seriously, has a very short temper and as you must have already noticed, loves yelling''

The coach wore baggy sweats and a tee shirt that said West Bridge Tigers on it. As we got closer I noticed that the veins in his head and neck were bulging probably from all the screaming.

We finally got to him and took our places with the other girls doing their stretches.

''Now that the two rotten eggs finally decided to join us,  everyone take twenty laps around the track!''

Some people groaned  and complained but started jogging anyway.

Jasmine and I were about to join them but Coach Blight stopped us  with his extended arm,  ''everyone except from you two,  you're both taking twenty five''

Twenty five laps? I could barely do ten. Was he planning on killing me on my first day?

Seeing the exasperated look on my face, Jazz put her arm around  my shoulders, ''don't worry Mila,  it really isn't that bad, it'll be over before you know it''.

It better be or else I was totally going to fake faint on the field, no jokes.

A few people joined Jasmine  and I in our twenty five lap run after they were done with theirs, which confused me on whether they were trying to be nice or show off, while the others  who finished were with coach doing calisthenics.

When we were all done with the run without me passing out or dying from exhaustion,
we joined the others on the line and copied whatever exercise coach was doing.

''So,'' Jazz started from beside me as we did the child's pose and coach couldn't see us communicate, '' do you have a boyfriend back in New York?''

''No,'' I snorted, ''do you?''

''Have a boyfriend in New York, no, I've never been there ''
