Mila's POV.
I hummed lowly to myself as I opened my newly bedazzled locker door and sorted out my books.
I had officially made the locker mine by adding a few Shakespearean quotes and a miniature family photo with with mum, dad,Jase,Misty and I inside it. It was taken when Mist was still a baby and it was really old but that was the only family picture we've ever been able to take due to my parent's frequent absence.
I looked over my shoulder for the hundredth time today expecting to at least see Barbie,Candie or Mandie pour something into my shirt or take revenge in another way but was disappointed once again.
It was already lunch and I hadn't as much as seen any of them, it was fine with me though, I was ready for whatever they came up with but they could at least do me a favour and do it already rather than leave me in suspense.
After dropping my books and arranging them in order of the classes I have, I carried me and Jase's lunch and headed over to the cafeteria.
Apparently his royal highness, King Jase said he couldn't eat the cafeteria food so I had to make lunch for him everyday and to worsen the situation according to him, he was too manly to be seen carrying his own lunch so I had to give it to him in the cafeteria also.
He was messing with the normal balance of the universe by doing this, he's meant to be my servant not the other way round.
As I walked through the throng of people making their way to the cafeteria, I couldn't help but feel insecure due to the number of gazes that were fixed on my form.
I instantly regretted turning down Leanna's offer to walk with me to cafeteria under the pretense that I needed to gather my thoughts but I just didn't want to risk getting her caught up in whatever devious scheme Barbara had in store for me.
I glanced down at my yellow sundress to check if Barbara and her minions had ripped it while I was not paying attention but it was perfectly normal so why on earth where this people still staring at me, surely all the hype about me should have died down by now it was my second day already so I'm sure it should.
I felt the urge to tell them to take a picture instead but just continued walking until I got to the cafeteria.
To my surprise some random dude opened the door for me which was totally unnecessary as I was perfectly capable of doing so, I do have two hands after all, I would've protested but he was just trying to be nice so I shot him a small smile in gratitude and went over to Jase's table.
''Your highness,'' I say sarcastically and plopped his lunch in front of him.
He turned around gave me a smile which I just rolled my eyes over. "Thanks Mila''
''Whatever''
''Dude,'' One of the guys on the table says, elbowing Jase.
''Oh yeah Mila, these are Jake, Hank, Aaron,Cal, Ian and Nick, '' he gestured to all the guys.
Was this really the table he wanted me to join there were literally only boys on it, I would die of either boredom or insecurity .
''Nice to meet you all, my name's Milana but you all can call me Mila ,bye now, '' I said forcing a smile and waved before turning around and walking to my table.
'Why was I so socially awkward at times, like why on earth did I just wave' I inwardly face palmed.
''Hey Mila,'' everyone greeted as I sat down except Lin and Min who were currently stuffing their faces with food.
