"But Papa!"
You pouted as your feet heavily follows your father as he casually walks to the kitchen, while your mother and brother were just laughing as they watch.
"No buts, little princess. Your mom and I already talked, and we want you to know about our favorite sport. All your life, you're only standing on ice," your father opened the refrigerator and took out the orange juice, "We want you in a gym now."
He raised both his brows at you as he softly smiles with a tint of pleading, but you just stood beside him with the same pout and furrowed brows.
It's true that you're all about skating while dad, mom, and your big brother were all about not letting the ball touch the ground. But the idea of having to stay in a loud gym and watching the ball get passed from one side of the court to another is a totally different atmosphere.
"I really think [F/N] here is adopted. How come she's the only one who doesn't feel that rush of electricity when hitting the ball? All she does is spin and land and spin and smile above the ice," your big brother, Shin, shouted from the entertainment room.
You sighed when you heard your brother's stupid voice, but he was right about everything except the idea that you are adopted. You look exactly like your parents.
Your [straight/wavy/curly/other styles of hair] [hair color] hair looks just like your mom's and your [eye color] [eye shape] is just like your father.
Both of your parents were the aces of the volleyball team during their younger years and even won tons of awards. They were famous just like Shin who's studying in Brazil while playing volleyball too.
"I won't change my mind, little princess. Either you go to the camp with us, or no competition," your father handed you a glass of orange and smiled, "Also your mother took all of your figure skates, so you won't be able to skate if ever you chose not to go."
"You guys are really mean," you whispered as you sip the juice.
Of course, you don't have any choice. They also said that the sports complex will be used as an ice rink. If you go, you can please your family and practice. It's a win-win situation.
You agreed and on the first day of vacation, you traveled to the training camp. The two hours of travel was well-spent with your brother's entertainment. Aside from being a great spiker, he's also a great singer. He even mentioned that if he wasn't good at volleyball, he would've become a singer.
Of course, the talent was not limited to him. Aside from your graceful movements, you're also a beloved singer and everyone you've ever met knows that.
"We're near, little princess."
Your father glanced at you through the rear-view mirror as he takes a turn. You notice that you're traveling towards a mountain, and on the other side, you can see the sports complex standing proudly.
"We'll have to walk for 20 minutes to reach the training camp because of some blockage on the way. Rocks fell down from the cliff because of the recent rain that happened."
"Everyone's there, Dad. They're waiting for us and for Coach William."
Shin was sitting shotgun and gave you his phone. You saw a lot of guys wearing different uniforms in a picture.
"These are the players?" You whispered, but no one has to answer since you already know the answer.
"I hope you'll make friends, [Y/N]" Mom smiled at you as she combs your hair with her fingers.
