Chapter 3 - Seeing You Again

Yami's POV

As the golden light from Osiris ceased, I was drenched in rain. I really was the only person crazy enough to be standing in the middle of the street, in the evening, while it is pouring. I seemed to be in a t-shirt and baggy pants. I still had my choker, bracelets, and belts on. I could also tell that I was tanner than when I shared a body with Yugi. I would of been off in my Yugi daze forever, unless I hadn't almost gotten run over.

I heard talking, but that's not what I was focused on at that point. All I could think about was getting back to Yugi. The man getting out of the car grabbed my arm and had me sit in the car. After I was out of the rain, I saw it was Joey.

"Joey?" I asked questionably staring the man down. "I thought you would never be able to come back!" Joey said practically yelling in my ears. It was weird to have a body of my own again. "It is you, wow you've really grown." I looked straight at Joey who looked a bit confused, but just stared right back at me. He had a finer shaped face, and grew out his hair a bit longer in the back. I could tell he was a bit taller than when I last saw him. I only had one question, when did he get a personal driver!?

The car was pretty silent for the next minute or two until Joey spoke. "Have you had a chance to go see Yug yet?" Joey had a bit of a sad look in his eye when he asked me about Yugi.

"I wouldn't be out here if I had seen Yugi, Joey." He looked a little embarrased until he spoke again. "Actually, I was on my way to Yug's when I almost rammed you with the car." He had sorrowful eyes, but I just shrugged them off. "Do you mind if I go with you...?" I looked at Joey, but he started to laugh. "I would have left you if Yug didn't want to see you. He has been upset over your leaving ever since you left 3 years ago." I looked out the window at the pouring rain. "Do you think he wants to see me again?" I looked at my feet. "Of course he would! You were like his other half for years. He would give everything to see you again." Joey looked right into my eyes telling me all these things.

Yugi really did feel the same way. He would give up everything if it meant we could be together again. I just hope that includes my feelings for him and not just as friends.

We pulled up next to the shop and Joey hopped right out pulling me along for the ride. I started to get nervous as he rang the doorbell. Joey hid me behind him so Yugi wouldn't know I was there, he intended to surprise Yugi. "Coming!" I could hear him yell from inside. Yugi's voice got more mature, I just wonder what he looks like now. The door opened, but I couldn't really see Yugi since I was behind Joey.

"Hey Yug, sorry I'm late. There was a little detour on the way over." Yugi just smiled at what Joey had said. "Don't worry about it Joey. I see that it is heavily raining out there, why don't you come in?" Yugi really has gotten more mature than when I was last here. Joey quickly glanced at me, not moving from his spot. "I have one question before I come inside." I could tell Joey was going to ask Yugi about me. "What would you tell Atem if he walked right into your house?" I could tell Yugi was a bit nervous by how his hair shifted.

"What would I tell him? Joey, are you being real? Atem isn't coming back..." Yugi trailed off a bit and I could tell that he was more effected at me leaving than I was. "Come on Yug, just what if it happened?" Yugi stuttered for a moment before speaking clearly. "Well, I would definitely give him a hug. It's been so long since I had last seen him. I would never let him leave my sight and would lock him away for only me, for eternity." I blushed, hard, at his last few words. I could tell the wavering in his mature voice when he was longing for me. I didn't know that he felt that way about me, I just thought he would move on and I would never get to tell him about my feelings.

"Well, Yug. I've got a surprise for you." I immediately tried to wipe my blush away, but that was until I saw him. Joey moved his body pushing me towards Yugi and that's when I got a good look at him. Yugi was almost the same height as me, only a few inches difference. His hair was a bit longer, but styled the same way. Yugi was wearing a tight black tank top that hugged his thin and semi-muscular body. Yugi had some meat on his thin bones. He also had on some baggy pj pants with little triangles all over them. I stared right into Yugi's gem like eyes, turning as red as I could get. I kept staring at his amazing looks until he started to cry. Yugi put his arms around me holding as tight as he could, I hugged him back tighter. I'm finally back with my aibou.
