(SKIP IF YOU WANT)
Twenty-one-year-old Thea Ashton was a presumably ordinary girl, with presumably ordinary parents. But that all changes when on a walk home from work she is kidnapped and taken to Mythadonea. A land of myth and magic, a land that only creatures of myth could enter. So why could she and why did they take her?
Now trapped, but not alone in this new and strange world, Thea is faced with choices she never thought she'd have to make. Choices that would not just affect this world, but the world she so desperately wishes to return to as well.
Join Thea in the war of all wars as she discovers who she truly is and perhaps even finds true love in the most unlikely of people.

Okay, so this is the summary. As I said, I'm not completely sure where this story is going so I might make some changes, but tell me what you think and I'll have the first chapter up as soon as I finnish editing and making an awesome cover.
For now, though I'm gonna give you a little teaser. ;)

"Finally!"
A shriek left my lips and I spun around in a panic searching frantically for the silvered voice. squinting through the dim light I could make out the figure of a woman.
"I was starting to think you wouldn't show." I tried to make out the face of the woman with the silver tongue, but the light was to dim. Suddenly she lifted her hand and a dozen candles lit like magic immersing the room in dull candlelight.
"But Miranda is always right." I stared at her, my mouth slightly open. The woman's back had been turned to me, but now she faced me fully and amber eyes met my pale blue. They practically glowed in the dull light, creating an airy yet beautiful effect.
The woman was beautiful with long flowing white hair and tan flawless skin. Well almost flawless. Tendrils of tattooed smoke ran up her right arm in enchanting swirls and curves. The smoke drifted off what looked like a burned rose tattooed on the back of her hand. A gold band circled her neck with strange symbols carved into the metal and she wore a black tunic with legging and boots. Her tunic though a simply cut was covered in lace that looked like spider webs which seemed to glitter as if covered in tiny dewdrops. The woman's amber eyes twinkled as she smiled at me sweetly.
"Who...who are you?" I stuttered.
She took a bow her eyes never leaving mine and twinkling with mischief. "Astra Kester. And you," she said rising. "You must be Thea."
I didn't answer her, but my unease was growing. She chuckled giving me a bright smile. "It's alright, I know who you are. We all do."
I gave her a look. "who's, we." She smiles. "Why the organisation of course. You're a legend there. What you are. What you can do, or well what you will be able to do. It's why I came to talk to you."
I took a step back, glancing towards the closed door. Something wasn't right about this woman.
"Your father didn't want you involved with this, but we've run out of options." At the mention of my father, she gained all my attention. "my father's dead."
Giggling, she said in amusement. "Is that what your mother told you?" cocking her head she observed me with a small smile. "Smart woman your mother. What she did to hide you from us, from yourself. " She chuckled lightly to herself. "Using Hellfire root and crushed Lethe petals, it's was brilliant really."
"Too bad, it failed in the end." She took a step towards me and my heartbeat quickened as my fight or flight instincts started to take control. "What do you want?" I asked in a shaky voice.
Taking another step towards me she said in a sickeningly honeyed voice. "We need your help, Thea."
I stared at her confusion etched in my features. "Help? help with what?"
She glanced around as if checking we were alone. "Not here. Come with me, you'll understand everything."
Apart of me wanted to go with her, to ask her about my father and what she meant by what I am and what I will be able to do? But another part of me, the smart part of me. Knew that I would be an idiot to go with her. I mean she was obviously insane.
I began to slowly back away from her as she took another step towards me. I glanced back again, the door wasn't far. I could make it, just a few more steps and all I'd have to do was open it then run like hell.
She frowned as I backed further away from her. "please don't run, I really don't want to have to chase you."
I slowly moved my hand behind my back and attempted to grab the handle. "Thea, I really don't recommend you do that. Trust me you'd much rather want to deal with me than my friends."
A cheer rang through my mind as my hand made contact with the cold metal of the door handle.
"You've met them, remember." At that, a growl shook the room.
As if they were born of mist and shadow two beasts appeared beside the woman with amber eyes. They had the appearance of wolves the size of bears with huge sabertooth fangs and glowing red eyes. Dark smoke drifted off of them as if they were of pure shadow.
"I believe this world knows them as hellhounds." She smiled fondly at them. My heart practically stopped at the name. As a child, I was practically obsessed with myths and legends of all kinds. which means I knew all about hellhounds.
"Judging by your pale face, you've heard of them." A cruel wicked smirk crossed her face. "come here, Thea."
I was sure my entire body was shaking, but I said with as much confidence as I could muster. "Go to hell." I sharply pulled the handle down tossing the door wide open and then without even bothering to close it behind me, I ran.
