"We didn't see each other in forever!", the black-haired guy said, laughing and patting the shoulder of his friend roughly. He earned another stare, which he seemed to ignore.

"Probably because you didn't call me, Kaminari.", Aoi said, while slapping the hand of his friend away. He just fake-pouted and ignored him, trying to talk to Ayano: "Oi, Hanakuro, my new best friend, how's life?"

When Ayano gave him the same stare he received from Aoi, he looked to Taki, full of hope. But she also did the stare. "Why are you all so mean?", he asked, crossing his arms and leaning back into his chair. Taki just shrugged.

Aoi began to think about Haru. Did he make it to his classroom? He was sure he didn't know the way; he didn't even ask his older brother. Should he be concerned? Maybe. But the boy was 15, he thought. He can handle being lost. Now that sounded very much like an asshole.

But when he saw familiar indigo colored hair these thoughts faded. "Give me a minute, guys.", he said, already running after him, leaving his friends on their meeting spot. "Yume!", Aoi shouted and touched the boy by his shoulder. When he turned around, he looked into piercing yellow eyes. Eyebags under his eyes, pretty tanned skin, loosened indigo blue hair.

He gave Aoi an annoyed look. "What is it?" The tone in his voice got Aoi to remove his hand from Yume's shoulder. His whole impression while he was looking at him got him a weird feeling in his stomach. "I-", he started, but Yume interrupted him. "If it's about the holidays, I need to tell you that it's over."

Aoi wanted to reply, but Kouhei yelled "Zenbaku-kun!", over the whole school grounds, grabbed Yume's arm and dragged him with her. A last stare from him and Aoi's heart sank to the grounds. Without sounding dramatic, he could say it was crashed.

"Aoi." Next to him stood Hoshimura Tara, who was the gifted girl. As the daughter of an American and a Japanese woman, she was fluent in both languages. She was smart as hell, beautiful, kind and had a powerful quirk. Probably the best word how you could describe her was "perfect". And she wasn't even arrogant. Also, she called everyone by their first names, such as everyone called her by hers.

"Hm?" He tried to not use his voice as much but just this tiny word made it clear that his voice was cracking. Him still staring boldly at Yume wasn't helping either in this situation. "Is something going on?" Tara really was an angel, but an angel he didn't want right now, as much as he hated thinking this. "I just want to be alone for a second."

He ran into the building; on his way his gaze grabbed some red sparks flying past him but he was already in there before he noticed he had seen them. Asking himself what it was, he walked towards the bathroom. He slammed the door shut after him and walked straight to the sinks. He began slashing ice-cold water in his face and looked into the mirror.

"You look like an idiot. As if that surprised you. You knew it would happen eventually, you dork." Now he was talking to himself. If someone was with him in here, they probably would think he was crazy.

Although he expected it to happen, he probably still had some hope. You see, Yume and Aoi started meeting up at the end of year two. They became good friends without anyone else knowing. And when the year ended...they became even more. They spent much time together. So much, that Aoi thought they were dating. Which Yume didn't like. They didn't meet up again.

For such a short romance, Aoi thought, it should be easy to let go. But it wasn't. He really wasn't in love or anything, it just hurt. Maybe it was because it was his first relationship -which wasn't really one according to Yume – and that was what was hurting him so much. He really didn't know.

When the bell rang, he was walking into the classroom, sitting next to Taki, trying to ignore her worried expression. Midnight-sensei, their homeroom teacher, was walking in. She still looked as young as she was 20 years ago.
