Phase - II (11months later)
ERIN WILLIAMS
I woke up when the morning alarm set off. I sprang up immediately to turn it off. I didn't want to wake up everyone in the apartment. I rubbed my eyes and looked at my cellphone. I remembered Isabella had called last night and she wanted me to work on some design she sent me.
I didn't know anything apart from designing and dancing so when I shifted to Phoenix with Natalia ten months ago, I had to resume designing. Natalia was kind enough to offer me to stay with her. I knew I could trust her so I did what my heart said.
She already knew what Aoran did and she somewhere believed he couldn't do that. She was positive that he might have a strong reason in marrying Zuneza. But, no matter what the reason was he still left me. He left me for someone else and I could never forgive him for it.
I scrolled down the designs Isabella had sent me and went out in the hall. I saw Natalia doing yoga in her pretty teddy jumpsuit. She passed me a big smile when she saw me.
"Good morning!" She changed her position and lifted her eyebrows.
"Did you sleep well?" She asked.
I sighed and looked at her. How could she even ask me that?
"Jeff left?" I asked looking up at her.
"Yeah! He left last night only. Some emergency came up." She said.
Jeff was her boyfriend. Yeah! The same ignorant boss who used to make her work hard. When I met him I thought of him as a very arrogant, rude hulk but contrary to my imagination he was so adorable. Jeff and Natalia were now dating for more than six months and it was really entertaining to see them fight.
"I will get the bread." I said checking the kitchen. She nodded her head and resumed her yoga.
I tied my hair in a bun and went out to the street. It was early morning and I could see many people jog. Many people were seen going to their offices. The streets always seemed busy. I smiled looking at the lush greenery and ran toward the grocery store.
I bought the necessary items and headed to the apartment I shared with Natalia. As soon as I stepped inside I saw Natalia cradling Hazel in her arms. I sighed when I heard her crying more and more.
"As much as I love her sometimes I feel why couldn't that bastard use condom." She yelled when Hazel puked on her sports bra.
I put the groceries in the kitchen and went to Natalia who was already cleaning Hazel. She was always so loud and kept cursing but I knew how much she loved her.
"Give her to me. I'll do it." I said.
"Nah, she already troubled you enough in the night. Let me handle her." She frowned looking at Hazel.
"Yeah, she's your daughter after all." I shrugged.
"Are you jealous that you don't have one?" She raised her brow and kept cradling Hazel.
I went to the kitchen counter to make us breakfast. Natalia had to leave for work soon. I chopped the vegetables but my attention kept going on to Hazel who was crying endlessly in Natalia's arms.
I wiped my hands on the sides of my apron and removed it. I went to the hall where she was sitting trying to calm the little monster down.
"You! Female dog, stop crying please." I laughed at the way Natalia was pleading her to calm down.
"May be she's hungry." I said.
She looked up with puppy eyes and handed me my baby. She stopped crying as soon as she was in my arms. My heart melted when I saw my Hazel's puddled hazel eyes. I saw Natalia had made her a cute ponytail of her curly brown hair on top of her head. I smiled at her and kissed the top of her head.
