The end

(A few years later but still a flashback)
I wake up once again in pain. "Today feels odd,like it's something important" I whisper to myself "what's today again?" I think aloud. "REBECCA"!!! "GET UP HERE AND MAKE ME MY BIRTHDAY COOKIES"!!! You hear Ruby scream " oh yeah" I remember it's our 12th birthday. "Coming",you answer.
Once in the kitchen Ruby kick you in the shin " ya slowpoke" she says " hurry up I want my cookies" You follow her orders not to cause anymore problems.

Once the cookies were in the oven baking you began to clean up the kitchen. " hey loser" Yang says, you keep silent " I said HI LOSER" Yang yells at you. You mutter a hello to her. " What're you doing?" She asks " just cleaning" you answer, " oh are you now?"She asks sarcastically. "It'd be a bummer if someone were to mess up the kitchen wouldn't it Rebecca?" " Yes,yes it would Yang" you answer. "Good" she says voice turning dark. She runs and grabs the bag of flour and pours it all over the ground. " Yang stop!!" You yell at her, "SHUT UP SCUM" She yells back. She continues to make a mess as you try to stop her and clean up in the process. Yang finally stops and laughs " good luck loser" she says, then she causes more trouble DAD!!" "REBECCA MADE A MESS OF THE KITCHEN!!!" "You dirty lying scoundrel" you think to yourself. " YOU DAMN BRAT!!" Tai yells from his room. "Well I'm dead" you think. "Why did we ever have you" he says while grabbing you by the ear,he drags you down to your room tearing your right ear on the way down. He proceeds to beat you to a bloody pulp until he's bored." Now stay down here and DON'T come back up" Tao orders. Once out of earshot you mutter " not like I could've"
You clean up and wrap your ear as you hear Ruby enjoying her cookies. "Once again they forgot" you say "Momma would've never forgotten" You hear a knock at the door,"who could that be?" You wonder. "UNCLE QROW!!!" You hear Ruby and Yang yell. "Qrow? What's he doing here?" As time passes you grab the gun you have hidden" I'll see you soon momma" you say as you hold the gun to your head, but you hear knocking on the window of the basement, scared you put it away . You crawl over,struggling to stand you see your uncle. " hey little man" he says,you can see the pain in his eyes "kid why'd they do this to you?" he asks heartbroken. " I don't know but it stared a little while after momma passed away" you answer tears brimming your eyes as you remember your mom. "I'm ok uncle, I'm use to it" "No kid this is horrible, we gotta get you out of here" he says. "Anyways I got you a present" he says changing the subject. He slides a package through the window. You gasp in excitement and open it to see two swords. " These are twin dual swords for you" he tells you, " thanks uncle Qrow" you say " hold on" you run to hid them where you know nobody would find them. " Uncle Qrow, I need to tell you something" you tell him. " Yeah kid?" He asks, " I'm gonna escape tonight" you answer. " thank god kid,you're finally leaving this hell hole" he tells you. " yeah and I'll try to get in touch with you soon"  "I love ya kid" Qrow tells you, " I love you too uncle Qrow". "REBECCA"!!! You hear Ruby coming downstairs. " Bye uncle" you say as you limp back to your spot on the floor " bye kid" he whispers as he sneaks away. "Hi, sister" Ruby says happily, "hello Ruby" you answer back. "Who were you talking to?" she asks, " myself why?" You ask back. " oh nothing" she says with a sly smirk "DAD!!!!" She screams to Tai " Rebecca is trying to leave!!!" "Shit, she overheard me" you think. "OH NO SHE WON'T"!! You hear Tai from upstairs "Ruby get your scythe that Qrow gave you,Yang get your gauntlets"!! Let's teach your dear sister some rules" " Yes dad!!" They yell back.
Once everyone was in the basement they started the torture. They laughed through your screams and pleas. This beating was different they were being merciless. " Now for the last part" Tai says with a sickening grin " Ruby,cut of your sister's leg" he orders. " Yes dad" she smirks and cuts off part of your right leg. "Try to escape now,sweet Daughter of mine" Tai whispers evilly to you,they leave you in pain on the cold hard floor. You army crawl to your med kit and other belongings, "I said I was leaving and I meant it" you whisper. You bandage your leg and grab your bag packed with money and food you snuck away from Tai. You use a couple heavy boxes and the swords to crawl through the window. " Goodbye Rose/Xiao longs". You limp away never to return to that hell hole.
