My Secrets

Tell Me

Lucas's POV:
"Maya!" I yell as she runs away.
My face and legs hurt but I still run after her.
I didn't mean to do this.
Why won't she tell me.
Is it really that bad?
--
-Flashback to like less then 10 minutes before-
"Maya, what's wrong? You've been acting weird today." I say.
"Nothing" she says lying, I can tell.
"You can trust me." I say to reassure her that she can trust me.
"Not with this Lucas" she says.
"Why. Why won't you tell me what your hiding." I say, not mean, but not questioning.
"Because.... My secrets, are my secrets, if I feel like telling you.... Your probably going to die after... They need to be kept a secret.... Forever" she says and starts to walk away.
I grab her wrist.
"I won't tell anyone anything. It can't be that bad." I say pulling her back.
"It is" she says.
"Maya." I say wanting to know.
"Let me go." She says.
"Not till you tell me." I say.
Then out of nowhere, she slaps me and runs.
She hits hard.
I then run after and end up tripping and falling down a small staircase.
I hurry up and chase her.
Soon, she's gone from sight...

Maya's POV:
I run.
I can't tell him.
I haven't told anyone.
No one knows.
Finally I duck behind a corner and he passes.
He probably thinks I'm crazy know.
So much for having friends...... I ruin everything.....
