"What you writing?" Lucas ask coming up behind me.
"Well Cowboy, this just happens to be none of your business so go back to your farm and ride your horse into the sunset" I say closing my journal and turn to look at him.
"Funny" he says.
"I know right?!" I say as we go to lunch.
I don't even know how we became friends.
But I like having a friend again.
"Hey, Lucas" Missy says walking up to us, well, Lucas.
"Hi, Missy right?" He says. Obviously serious.
"Yeah" she says giggling.
That's so annoying.
"Wanna come eat lunch with me and my friends?" Missy says.
"I'm eating lunch with Maya. Maybe another time." He says turning away from her and back to me.
He smiles at me.
I smile back.
Missy storms away.
Maybe me and Lucas will get along together better then me, farkle, and Riley do.
Taking about Riley and Farkle, Farkle comes over to us and sits across from me and Lucas.
"Hey" he says.
"Hi. Where's Riley?" I ask.
"With Missy at the populars table" he says.
"Oh. Well. Me, you, and Lucas can be the new lame squad." I add, being funny.
They laugh.
"We need a handshake" Lucas adds.
"How about this" Farkle says and does a handshake thing with his hands.
"Perfect." I say.
We eat lunch and go to the next class.
That was the first time I was really, truly, happy in a while.
