As I looked behind me, to get a glance of the force that pulled me back to reality, I saw Leona. Was she the one who pulled me back? Where did I even go? I hoped Leo would have some answers, but I saw that something troubled her. "What's wrong?" I asked worriedly. "Well, I came back from the restroom and I couldn't find you. I only found some lumberjack bleeding on the floor. I didn't know what to think." As Leona was telling her story my nipples got hard from just thinking back to that moment. "Luckily the girlfriend of the lumberjack was the girl we were looking for." She paused to help me up and ordered some water to clear our minds a little. "Ok so you found the girl?" I asked. "Yes, her name is Emily. I always found that a beautiful name." "Yeah, me too, classic yet timeless." As we were agreeing about the name I remembered she was going to tell me something important. "Ok, back to the important stuff, you found Emily." "Yes, I asked her if she knew what happened. You know to make conversation." "Sure, yes, good angle." "She didn't know, but we got talking. I told her that I met a creepy old man, the Gray Fox. That I got a little bit scared of him and rumor had it she was his ex or something." "Nice one, so what did she say?" "Well, she knew him. She agreed he was a strange man, yet she said he was one who you could trust. After some wine she admitted she never really was his girlfriend. She was sent there to spy on him. I asked her who hired her, she said "some old fat gangster looking fella." "F*ck me, sounds like: Billy." We said in harmony. "Yeah, that was my first thought as well." Leona confirmed. "After that something went wrong with the lights. She was gone, but you got back. Where did you go?". The conversation got interrupted by the alarm for the blood. "Leo, we got to go to Billy. I think he has the information we are searching for." "Sure, let's go before the blood begins to pour." "Good idea. Wouldn't be good for business. Us walking up to Shitty Titty all covered in blood." We got up and squeezed ourselves through the crowd. The vampires began to show their real skins. The fangs grew double in size, the faces slowly turned into the original bat shape. Ugly creatures. We were halfway as we felt the drips coming down. "F*ck me." I mumbled to myself. The drips turned into rain, we were too late.

We left the building and made our way towards Shitty Titty. It was a 15 minute walk. My mind was going a thousand miles an hour. Why did he hire a spy? Who was the silver lady? Who was the boss the creature was serving? WHAT THE F*CK WAS GOING ON? I growled with rage. I hate it when I find myself in a riddle I can't solve. We finally reached the road that was host to the gas station. We walked towards Shitty Titty. Everybody looked at us with horror. I can imagine, we looked like we just came back from a Gwar concert. Something wasn't right, I could feel it in the air.

As we neared Shitty Titty and saw flashes of light coming from behind the windows. "This can't be good." I said to Leo. "Stay here and control the crowd. I'm going to take a look." I ripped my skirt to make room for my legs and started running. When I entered the door there was pure chaos. The girls were running for their lives, some laid dead on the stage in a pool of blood. Everywhere I looked was blood. Guests were crying for their lives. Some of them loved the drama and became violent themselves. I looked at the bar and saw Billy shooting with an automatic gun. He was not shooting at a target, he was just shooting around the room. Customers ran past me through the door to outside. I didn't know what was happening in here, but it could not be caused by a human.

I made my way towards the bar, stumbling over some dead girls, fallen chairs and tables. "BILL! BILL!" I yelled, but he didn't respond. "BILLY! DAD!" I yelled harder, he looked my way. "GODDAMN IT! IT'S ABOUT TIME YOU CAME!" Billy yelled angrily from behind the bar. We hid behind the bar counter and were able to talk normally. "I called you a hundred times already! F*cking milk bags! We have a shapeshifter in the building. I don't know what he looks like, but he already killed a couple of girls. Tammy gave him a lapdance, he asked for a girl named Emily. Tammy said she doesn't work here. Then he slit her throat with his massive claws and began searching for this Emily figure." Billy said without checking if I heard it. The place was total chaos, but I couldn't help hearing Breathe on Me by Britney Spears in the background. I must have told him a hundred times that there are more striptease playlists on Spotify. Every goddamn time I enter the place I hear Breathe on me. "For real Billy? Britney Spears with Breathe on Me again? I hear that song at least once a night everytime I visit this place." I hardened my voice: "GODDAMN IT BILL! I'M SO MAD AT YOU AND BRITNEY IS JUST THE LAST STRAW!". "Emmy." Billy said calmly. "I don't know if you are on this planet right now, but my whole place is going to shit. So would you mind helping me with killing that thing and not complain about Britney? Which by the way is a brilliant song." he said annoyed. Ok I was prepared to help Billy, but it was more out of curiosity for our opponent and his prey. "How are we going to do this?" I asked optimistic. "Emmy, you are the monster hunter. I'm just the owner of a strip club that is costing me a lot of money right now. So, you tell me." Billy said sarcastically. Well, he was right. I just need to find out what the opponent is. I need to see it, or at least a reflection. "Bill, I got a plan. You still have that awful disco ball hanging in the ceiling?". "It's not awful Emmy, but yes." Billy answered, offended. "Make that baby spin with some light on it. It will hopefully show us where our opponent is hiding through the light movement." I said confidently, not knowing if it would work. Bill nodded and crawled to the light controls. I slowly stood up to take a peek over the counter. As I was rising, I leaned on the counter and I felt the beer sticking on my hands. The wood was warm which made the sticking worse. I saw nothing, yeah I saw pure mayhem, but not the thing I was searching for.

Since Billy told me my opponent was a shapeshifter, it was pure camouflage I was chasing. The disco ball did finally descend and gave the room a glimmering effect. As I saw the hundreds of little light passing in the mirror behind the bar I knew it was time to take action. Under the counter was a shotgun taped. This was the normal way of living here. There were all kinds of danger, we needed to make sure we could defend ourselves in time of need. I pulled the shotgun from under the counter and checked if it was loaded. The gun was ready and loaded, so I was ready to go. I leaned the shotgun on the counter and slowly got up. I peaked over it and saw the horrific sight. Shitty Titty? More like Bloody Titty at the moment. I searched the room for moving walls or furniture. Something that is not supposed to move. Finally I spotted the bastard. I fired the shotgun. Missed.

As my eyes followed the foul creature, I noticed something. The mirrored lights made tiny little cracks in its 'second skin'. You have all kinds of shapeshifters, you even have potions for it or the drugs I mentioned. Yet only the originals really have two skins. As everyone knows, the mirror gives you a look into your true soul. That's why vampires don't see anything, they don't have one. An original shapeshifter will shed their second skin, the form they have taken on. I read that with the correct mirrored lightning it has the same effect, but I've never seen it for myself. A shapeshifter is a lizard by origin, the little cracks showed the lizard beneath the facade. With those cracks made he can't recover the second skin and has to take another form.

"BILL, HE IS CRACKING UP!" I yelled, with the hope he knew what to do. "YEAH, SO? JEZUS CHRIST EMMY! I'M NOT THAT SMART! Goddammit. WHAT NOW?!" Billy yelled back. I rolled my eyes with pure disappointment and could not believe this man raised me. "YOU NEED TO SHOOT THE LIZARD IN THE RED SPOT ABOVE THE TALE!" I yelled a little irritated. "OK, OK, YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SO MAD AT ME! I WILL TRY!" Billy yelled back with a little sad tone in his voice. The lizard knew what I was up to as soon he felt that his cracks were growing. He looked around and could not find a quick hiding place. One of the knocked out girls woke up and began screaming as soon as she saw the creature. The lizard reached out for the girl. He lifted her up at the head, cracked her jaws and pulled her tongue out. Trying to get a new skin. "JEZUS, NOT SALLY BANELLY!" Billy yelled in pain. He focused on me and made a run towards me. With his tale bending in all the right directions he could move twice as fast. Everything and everyone in its way got destroyed by his mighty tale, leaving a path of destruction. I saw him coming and hoped Billy could shoot this bastard. I second guessed and decided I needed to rely on myself in this fight. I duck behind the counter and reached for the knife next to the lemons. As soon as the lizard would come over the counter I would throw my body sideways and cut in its red spot. The red spot is their weak spot, they will bleed out in a matter of seconds. Even before the Lizard could reach the counter Billy threw a grenade in our direction. The explosion blew out the front of Shitty Titty. The morning light blinded my eyes.

I turned my body around to face the lizard, but all I could see was a silhouette firing a gun. The lizard fell dead upon me. I crawled from underneath the carcass, finding my way out. As soon as I came up I saw who it was. My face became pale and my heartbeat started to race. The Gray Fox. You could feel him coming, you felt it when he was around. It's like the air is freezing, like with a ghost. Of course in my case he is always there at bad moments.

The Gray Fox walked towards me and said: "I asked you one little thing and look at the mess you made. Or should I say, as always?". His voice was low and calm. He spoke out every word with care. I got the creeps every time the guy stood in front of me. But, when listening to his voice I couldn't help but get hypnotized by his ice blue eyes. "I, I... Who am I fooling, I can't explain this mess." I said disappointed. He sighed, nodded his head and walked around the place. "Miss Zash" he said with a dramatic pause. "I helped you today, more than once. I gave you one small mission. How did this even happen?" he said as he turned around to face me again. "Sir I found what you were looking for and the leads led me here. She was gone and I hoped to find her here.". He came really close to my face now. "Miss Zash. Keep your work to yourself. Nobody needs to hear this.". My face couldn't help itself and showed the irritation that was building up inside. "Spare me your frustrations, miss Zash. I can't let you go unpunished for this. Meet me in front of the dark forest tonight, at 11 pm. In case you're thinking about not showing up just remember I have your address. I will come and drag you myself. What happens after that is even worse than the punishment you are going to receive now.". he said strictly. The tone in his voice gave me shivers down my spine. Like a sad little girl I walked across the road home. Leo was already gone, smart girl.
