Sharp pains and compassion

I woke up at 7 a.m from the alarm. My head was aching and I really needed a pill to relieve my pain. I felt like someone had been playing games with my memories and personal thoughts. No, not you. As I walked towards the kitchen I could smell coffee. I must have told him a hundred times that I don't drink coffee, I actually hate the smell. I didn't want to confront him, yeaster left him with blue balls, so I made a turn for the bathroom. "Good Morning moonshine." he said with a handsome smile. "My god, moonshine? Because we work for the úan and are not the mainstream people, I'm not your sunshine but moonshine. You are as cheap as products at Walmart." I said with a not amused face. " You little bitch." I whispered after. I groomed myself and put on some fresh clothes.

I haven't heard any noises in a little while, so I assumed he left. He was going to marry the day after tomorrow. Sometimes I felt bad for the girl, stealing her man at night. I tried to break the relationship many times actually. We just couldn't find the connection with somebody else. I entered the kitchen and found him waiting for me. There he stood, the magnificent beast. I remember, I never described him. Well, he is a rough unpolished man. He was at least two meters tall. He was heavy build, not athletic but you could see his muscles. He looked like a large dead lifter in some way, yes that is a good description. His half long dark brown hair fell over his shoulders, leaving a warm face. His face was shaved except his sideburns. He thought it looked cool on Elvis in the seventies, I agreed. His lips are full and prettier than most of the women. I needed a tall man, I was a tall woman myself. Hitting almost 1.90 meters. I never liked my height, it just makes me feel abnormal, even when I'm at work with monsters. He leaned against the counter with his arms crossed. He saw me coming and pulled me into his arms. I felt safe in his big arms, a feeling I never had.

RING RING, the doorbell. "That must be Sorinna picking me up for work." I wrestled myself out of his arms. I grabbed my phone and sent a message to Sorinna to tell her that I was coming. He followed me into the living room: 'You know I won't be coming here after the wedding.'. I felt my eyes fill up with tears. 'Yeah yeah I know, not a problem.' 'So will you come as well, saw you threw the invitation in the bin.' 'Really, what did you think? I go to a wedding, have to look a woman in the eye knowing I f*ck her husband. And to make it worse, I lose my soulmate that day.' I shocked myself with that last sentence. I turned around to face him and saw the hurt in his eyes. I knew he wanted me to say this for a very long time. I walked past him, dodging his arms and made my way out. I closed the front door and leaned against it. Tears were rolling down my eyes as I felt that I would not be seeing him again.

"Hey there moonshine." Sorinna said with much enthusiasm. "What the fuck is wrong with everyone? Moonshine? Like, is that a thing now?" I said grumpy. " I am a vampire, I live in the night, I only know moonlight. Besides, I heard it was late last night. Jeez." Sorinna said irritatedly. "We made you shots of 'cure' so you can live in the shadows of the day. I thought maybe you had seen some sunshine by now, with good sunglasses. And yes it was late last night.'' I answered, irritated. "Leona told me that you got bad news about Billy. What was that about?" she said lightly. I looked at her with a did you say that for real? face and said: "Well, good morning to you too, Sorinna. How about, did you sleep well? Did you have a nice breakfast? Well, thank you Sorinna, I had no breakfast and I slept like shit.". 'Well, someone got out of bed with the wrong foot.' Sorinna drove to the Psychiatric Hospital.

She parked the car far from the entrance, so she could smoke a cigarette on the way towards the building. She does that every morning. I once asked her why she smokes. She said: "I can't die from it and it looks cool.". Strong points were made. It's really troubling that I had no problems with us doing drugs, but smoking gave a feeling that death was nearby. We walked towards the Hospital, the biggest building in our little town. The front of the building was decorated with concrete angels. They watched over all the new patients who were coming in for treatment. The building had long narrow windows, giving it a static look and no chance of looking in. You would enter the building through a big door with angels made of glass and lead. Everything in the building was pretty old. The big round entrance has big massive Victorian stairs on both sides, leading you to the east and west wing. The floor is made of black and white marble. In the middle a marble statue of some fallen angels who were in battle with the devil to remind you you are not alone. On the right side was a counter for check in. Behind the counter was a huge switchboard for telephone lines. We never changed it, because it produced the least signals. Some monsters go crazy if you turn on your bluetooth or 4G. There are whole sections phone free, or signal free zones, nobody comes here but the staff. As we walked in I knew that sister Angelique was going to bother me with a client of mine. His name was Braeden, he was one of the originals (one of the first monsters the devil has created, not like a vampire biting you). The story goes that he threw himself off the cliff after years of abuse by his mother. He wanted to drown himself so all his troubles were washed clean by the ocean. But the devil had other plans for him. He saw the hatred that was brewing in Braeden and saw the opportunity to create another troublemaker. As soon as he hit the water the waves took him deep below. He got his wish, he drowned, but the sea had other plans. The sea bended his body, making him suffer excruciating pain. His lungs filled with water, but his ribs created gills. He could breathe again. His body slowly turned itself into a functional coral reef. Some body parts never bent back to normal. We actually let cleaning fishes, such as Parrot fish live with him, so they can clean him. Breaden can survive without salt water, but he would eventually die. His body will dry out and slowly turn into stone. Braeden is here because he attacked multiple boats. His anger from his childhood and his anger at the sea made him mad. He asked for a blessing, but instead he was granted a curse. He spread death at all the sunny beaches, just to get back at god for not letting him into heaven. Here in the Psychiatric Hospital he lives in a room with an adjusted pool and cage around it. He doesn't want to live in his little swimming pool and throws himself out of the swimming pool at every opportunity, therefore the cage. The doctors and I already spent months talking to the guy and finally we saw some progress. He hasn't thrown himself out of the pool for 2 months now.
