Adalia ~

"Oh god, I feel so embarrassed" I nervously said as I clipped my seat belt in and looked over at Trayson, he was wearing a plain white tee and some black joggers. His hand rested on the steering wheel and all off his tattoos on his arms where on show, before he noticed me staring I quickly looked forward as he started up the car and drove away.

"Why?" He asked and I saw him glance at me in the corner off my eye before returning his gaze back to the road.

"I literally had to call my teacher to come and pick me up from a party because my friends ditched me" I laughed and looked over at him.

Now he was looking at the road I could focus on the top half off him, his black hair was messy but cute. It looked like he had just raked his hand through it a few times before rushing out off the door to come and get me. It was strange to see him this way, especially being used to him in a shirt and suit trousers in the front off the classroom.

"Don't be embarrassed, your definitely not the first and you surely won't be the last" he chuckled. I shook my head with a smile creeping it's way across my lips.

"Can I ask you something?" I asked and he nodded, I watched his hand turn the steering wheel onto the next street.

"What did you mean in the library?" I spat out and he didn't reply.

Instant regret began to crawl through my body making me turn from him and gaze out off the window, watching the trees as we drove down the narrow road.

The car came to a stop and i looked around to see we where near a small lake surrounded with tall old trees and green bushes.

Is he going to murder me?

"Uh, Mr Collin where are we?" I looked over at him to see he was already half way out off the car. I opened up the passenger door and hopped out, following him down the small pathway.

He sat down on the wooden deck, letting his feet dangle above the lake. I looked back at his parked car and then back at him before shrugging and taking a seat next to him.

"A spark" he suddenly said.

"Sorry?" I moved my hair out off my face before facing him.

"That's what I feel between us, and it's crazy I know. But since you walked into my classroom my minds been running circles around you" he admitted.

"I feel it too" I whispered and he slowly turned his head to face me.

"You do?" He smiled at me in the most adorable way. I nodded and he brought his rough hand up to my rosey cheek.

"Your so beautiful" the words left his mouth as he ran his thumb across my jawline and let his hand slowly fall into my wavy hair, My body felt like it was on fire just from that simple action.

He placed his hand back onto his lap as he turned to look at the pretty lake. You could hear the water hitting the bottom off the wooden fence, I felt like I was in a movie scene.

"I used to come here when I was a child, it was mine and my father's favourite place" a cheesy smile played on his face, showing off his pearly white teeth.

"I'm close to my father too, he's all I've known my mother walked out on him when I was a baby. I can't even remember what she looks like" -

Opening up to Trayson felt like the most natural thing to be doing, it's like we just bounced off of each other's energy. We talked about our life's..he told me that he always wanted to be a teacher he admitted to being a total nerd back in school, I found it pretty cute.

"Do you live by here? Like close to campus" I asked and he nodded before looking at me again.

"I still live in our family home my parents passed away but before they did, they bought the house leaving it for me to move into and then pass down to my children when I eventually have them and so on" he explained.

"I'm so sorry about your loss..but that's so sweet what they did" I smiled.

He ran his hand through his messy hair before speaking up again. "Adalia" he started and I looked at him, indicating that I was listening.

"You do know we can't do anything about the connection between us right? I mean your eighteen years old and I'm twenty six, let alone me also being your English teacher" he frowned, snapping me back into reality.

He was right, but why did my heart hurt at the thought off us not getting to know each other outside off him just being my teacher?

"I know" I whispered, his eyes landed on my lips.

"I should get you back to your dorm" he said before tearing his gaze away from me and lifting up, dusting the dirt off of his joggers.

The car ride back was silent, not the awkward kind though. He pulled up outside off the building and I unclipped my seat belt before pushing open the passenger door.

"Goodnight Adalia" I heard his deep voice call out as I closed the door behind me.

I hugged my body trying to keep it as warm as possible from the cold air as I walked up the stone steps to the college's entrance.
