*The Previous Summer*
It's finally here. The summer before senior year. The summer I do what I want and live like crazy. The best summer ever.
Now I'm sure you've heard teens say things like, "this summer is going to be the BEST EVER." And they usually end up sleeping 80% of the time, and the other 20% is actually spent doing things. That's not how my summer is going to go. This summer I'm going to live while I'm young. Hey, just like the brand new One Direction song!! Gosh I love them. That's one of the things I'm doing this summer, I'm going to the One Direction concert with my Best Friend, Leah. I can't even express how excited I am. All I got was lawn seats.. But just being within a mile of them will MAKE my summer.
"12 days until the concert!" Leah screeched at me, instead of saying hey like a normal person. "I know! I'm counting down the minutes! Why are we going to wear?" I asked suddenly. We hadn't even thought about what to wear! I know they most likely won't see me, but you know, anything can happen. I have to look perfect. "I don't know. Let's go to the mall..?" Leah suggested. We have to look perfect, so I guess the mall is where I'll be. "Ok, lets go,"
6 hours of painful shopping later, we crashed in my room with our bags next to us. You could smell the Abercrombie&Fitch perfume still lingering on our skin. After hours of searching, we both finally found the perfect outfits for the concert. I got a white lace shirt, a deep purple bandau, and a pair of jean shorts, which I paired with my brown ankle boots, belt, and headband to too it off. Leah found a fitted, white, deep-V shirt, which she paired with a neon green body-con skirt, black sparkly headband, and black sequined Sperry's. Having the outfits was making me even more excited for the concert. I am so ready.
And the count down begins.
