The rest of the week flys by the Defence Against The Dark Art's teacher is such a fake, Harry Potter keeps staring and wants me to help him study now. I take my day off as an opportunity to explore the castle. I put on a comfortable but stylish outfit (above) as I walk out of the empty common room. I walk up a set of stairs and as I go to walk off the staircase starts to move once more. I jump grabbing my bag before it fell as I lost my balance I caught myself and continued through the halls of Hogwarts. Soon I found myself on top of the school on what appears to be the astronomy tower. I look at the view when I heard footsteps steps I look over my shoulder to see who is coming. Harry. Flipping. Potter. I sigh and act civil "hey Harry what are you doing up here?" he looks at me and snaps out of his trance "same as you," I lift an eyebrow "you are here for a drug deal too?" he looks up with a confused look "kidding, geez I just came to see the view from the top of the castle" he lets out a sigh of relief and stands next to me "do you wanna meet me at the lake around five tonight? No studying just as friends if that's ok." I did not want to deal with Harry tonight to so I quickly came up with something "oh I would love its just Draco asked me to uh go on a date with him tonight and I could never stand someone up like that." he clenches his fists and I leave giving him a small awkward hug "next Saturday at 5"
I walk away to find Draco I soon see him in the great hall eating lunch I run over to him and jump and sit on the top of the table. He looks at he in shock as I giggle "so I didn't want to go on a date with Harry and I may have lied saying I was going on a date with you tonight..." he looks me in the eyes and I put my head on his arm "kill me slowly" I say and he starts to laugh "so when is that date?" I lift my head off of his shoulder "I didn't think you would agree... uh you pick?" he nods "meet me in the common room around 6" I nod and watch him walk off I forget people exist and Daph walks up to me snapping me out of my trance "I am so helping you get ready for that date," I blush and playfully shove her "shut upppp its not a date it is an excuse to not go on a date with Potter" she gives me her mom look and shuts me up. "ok it's a date..." she starts to squeal like she just saw the most amazing thing ever. I get up and grab an apple then leave to find a book, after all, it is only 1 in the afternoon. I go to the library to see the mudblood I walk up to her and she takes a step back looking up from the book. " hey (y/n)...right?" I nod and start to talk "is Harry always... how should I put this... awkward?" she starts to giggle and sets the book back on the shelf "he fancies you, are you really that slow?" I clench my fist "you stupid mudblood I knew that and for your information, I am smarter than you." I walk away after grabbing Hogwarts: a history I have already read it this year but it won't kill me.
A few hours later I look up at the clock to see its 4:45 I sigh and go into my closet to find something to put on I soon come across something I like and leave my hair down slightly curled.

The heels are going to be an adjustment to get used to but I will manage. Daph soon comes in to see I was done getting ready she grabs my face and looks me in the eyes "mascara, maybe some lipgloss and we are on our way" I escape her grasp and shake my head "no makeup I never used it and I don't plan on it till our third year" she forces me to sit on my bed then adds a tiny bit of mascara then adds a red tint on my lips. "tada!" I open my eyes and look in the mirror expecting to see a clown but I found a way better me. "wow...thanks Daph..." she nods then points at the clock "you have five minutes till six" I grab my bag check my look one more time and walk to the common room(above I will always use the same bag) I see Goyle in the common room and I sit across from him "Goyle were is Draco?" I ask hoping I didn't get stood up he points behind me "hey princess" I roll my eyes and notice the fact that he didn't put gel in his hair. "Why pet names I told you none of that when we were with Potter" he shrugs I ruffle his hair as he flicks me away I look back at Goyle who was trying to come up with a ship name under his breath he soon gets up and goes to his room "common princess" I facepalm and follow Draco out of the common room "where are we going?" I asked picking up the pace to keep up with him "that would ruin the surprise" I roll my eyes as we walk out of the castle "it's coldddd why didn't you tell me we are going to be outside?" he gives me his jacket as we get to the black lake, I throw him his jacket and jump in without thought "you coming?!" I call back to a shocked Draco he points to a basket and some blankets. Damn, I thought he knew me better than that. The next thing he grabbed was some towels and he signaled me to come back "arent I the boss of you?" I ask he nods and wraps me in the towel, I sit in his arms for a while just as I start to fall asleep I feel my sides being attacked with a follow of my laughs and pleads for him to stop.
Harry POV
I watch from the castle as I see Draco and MY (y/n) I see her laughing in his arms... he soon stops and after what seemed like an eternity she starts to get up and swim Draco following hesitant. After that Ron came and found me dragging me back to the common room "mate it's not the end of the world, you can win her next week and it's just a girl she is stupid for going on a date with Malfoy" I nod and lay awake with the thought of her being so happy with him. Yeah right it's just an act of hers.
authors note: my updates are shit ik but I am trying to make things og and other people make that hard. I am planing some... things thanks for reading and I am switching all of the chapter names soon to name titles, not numbers so be prepared for that
