(SIX)

When Six woke up, she immediately rubbed her eyes. There was fog every where, and she could barely see anything. However, she was prepared. Prior to the caging, Seven had given her a box of matches, in case they became useful at some point. And they did. She lit one and walked through the base of the Maw. There were pipes on the walls. The ceiling dropped water, and there were rats as well. She continued through the fog, hoping there was an escape. She ended up in what appeared to be an air duct, however there was no air flowing through it, and there was a nest of rats inside. As she went through, the duct became a maze, which she went through after an hour of dead ends. Eventually she found a way out, and climbed some nearby stairs, as she entered what appeared to be an old abandoned bedroom. She was disgusted by the room, rats, stains and many other things, but none came close to what was in the next room. As she went through a gap in the wall, she entered a mostly empty room. She saw a suitcase and a chair, but what she saw next shocked her. Above the chair was a man, but he wasn't standing. He was hanging. He had a noose around his neck and was hanging from the ceiling. But this wasn't any man. Six recognized him. It was the Elder. He still had the saggy skin as before, hanging on to his shoulders. His clothes were now grey instead of red. He was much thinner. Six vomited, and screamed on the inside thinking of one thing, and one thing only:
-"What could possibly have the power to kill him?"
She'd rather not think of it. She found a door on the other side. But the handle was too high up. She thought of what to do. Eventually she used the chair to reach the handle. Before going through she looked back at the elder.
-"They'll go after me next..... "
