"Hey, we're gonna need you to go fix some one's support piece from the hero course." Power loader sensei said as I screwed in a screw in my mechanical item.
"Why me?" I asked, putting my screw driver down.
"Because you've worked with a mechanic like this before. More so than the others." I stood up from my seat and sighed. "Fine." I said.
I was loaded onto the bus with the other 1-A students, seeing as they were trying to give me time to fix the belt before the actually started the training.
"If we're pointing out the obvious then there's something I want to say." Asui said as I took apart Aoyama's belt, trying to see the problem with it. I had given him a temporary replacement belt before we had gotten on the bus, though it wouldn't really last long. "It's about your Midoriya. That power of yours. Isn't it a lot like All Might's?" She asked bluntly.
"Oh, really? You think so huh?" Midoriya said, nervously. "I never really thought about that. I guess it's kinda similar."
"His quirk is kinda like All Might's." I spoke up. "But the draw backs are much more severe than All Might's, so I doubt that they're the same."
And then Kirishima started talking about how flashy quirks can be, and how his wasn't really that amazing. "It'd be easier to be a popular hero if I had something flashier."
"You're quirk's just fine, Kiri."
"Huh? Kiri?"
"It's a nickname! But anyways, your quirk can be used for a lot of different techniques, so you'll be appealing to a lot of people. Like you said, your quirk's not flashy but you can take down villains pretty easily. In addition to that, you'll have more endurance than the regular human being. It doesn't really matter that your quirk isn't flashy, as long as it's able to take down some other flashy villains." I grunted as I dropped a piece of the belt I was working on. "You'll be a great pro."
"Heh. My navel lazer's got the correct combination of panache and strength." Aoyama said.
"But it's way lame if it gives you a stomach ache, sweetie." Mina said.
"Really? Your quirk does that to you Aoyama?" I asked and he nodded. "That's a pretty intense drawback if you ask me. If anything, it's like your body doesn't match together with your quirk. Have you tried techniques to increase your metabolism? That might help. Maybe just doing more ab workouts could do the trick." I trailed off a bit.
"Well, if we're taking about any of our classmates having pro quirks, it'd be Todoroki and Bakugo." Kirishima looked at them in adoration.
"Yeah, but Bakugo's always so angry all the time, so he'll never get that far."
"What did you say? I'll kick your ass!" Bakugo yelled, standing up.
The vibrations coming from his shout cause me to drop a screw, and the bus his a bump causing it to roll away. I cursed under my breath as I had to reach for it under the seat.
"Ya know, we kinda just met you, so it's kinda telling that we all know your personality is flaming crap mixed with garbage." Said Kaminari.
"You're gonna regret the day you applied to this school you loser!" He yelled again.
"Oh, shut your trap. You're being louder than present mic at this point. And trust me, it's not a good thing." I said as I had finally picked up the tiny screw.
"What did you say?" He yelled again.
"Oh look, he made himself go deaf with that loud voice of his. It's a real pity." I shrugged.
