"I had a bad feeling that something was going wrong here when Aizawa and Thirteen hasn't answered my calls." All Might said. "I passed young Iida along the way and heard of the villainy at work here." He ripped his tie off. "It's fine now. I am here!"

Before I got the chance to announce my presence, before I got to scream--

Before I got to call out and alarm my father that I was gonna drown-

I did all I could to stay up, but the water was still moving at an alarming rate due to Midoriya's smash, so I took in all the air I could before being submerged in the water.

Soon enough, there was another burst, and the water twisted and turned, knocking some of the air out of my lungs. I covered my mouth and nose with my hands as tightly as possible, but it wasn't enough.

I had the urge to cough, and my lungs started to feel extremely tight.

All the sounds from above were just light vibrations from down here.

I tried not to think about anything. I tried to keep my mind blank so that I didn't panic.

But my mind was racing.

And my body just kept sinking.

If I could just get to the bottom quicker, I could make my way to the shore, but to sink faster, I would have to clear my lungs of air.

And that would be too risky because I didn't even know how far down this thing went.

And moving my muscles any more would cause me to use up my oxygen even faster.

The light was getting dimmer and dimmer, and soon, I closed my eyes trying to keep myself from thrashing around. The truth was, I was shaking.

I was terrified of large bodies of water.

So much was unknown about it. The ocean went so deep. We don't even know 5 percent of what's in the ocean.

And what's worse, is drowning.

You just sink, further and further into the depths of the water, trying to hold your breath despite the panic. And as soon as you let go, there's nothing you can do. Your lungs burn as it begs for air, and they ache when you suck in water instead.

Everything regarding your respiratory system just collapses, and the only way for you to be saved is if somebody knows that you're under the water.

But only if they can figure that out while your heart is still beating.

A lot of the time, people drown due to panic.

And it's very understandable.

Some times, you don't even get to drown when you die in the water.

Sometimes, it's hypothermia that get's you.

You start to go crazy as all the blood rushes to your skin to try and warm it up. All of your blood leaves your brain. You can't think, and your body just reacts. That icy cold water feels as though it's acid rain, both being icy cold, and burning hot at the same time. Your blood rushes throughout your body, trying to warm you up, but then your brain starts to shut down.

The cells are acting all on their own now, dying one by one as they try to save a person who's already dead. And then once the nerves shut down, the cells have no more directions from the brain, and everything stops.

But the water I was in had been mildly warm, so I didn't have to worry about freezing to death.

But it was very deep, and very dark. It took a long while before I hit the solid bottom of the water.
