Blix's POV:
Dark
Silent
Lonely
That's what I felt like in this cave....
It's been my home ever since my creation.I hated everyone because they brought me here.I was different....I only wanted help from the Tree of Life.
But...nobody understood me.They hated me just because I wasn't one of them
And what did I get?
A curse...that bounded me to this place.
The only way to break it was with a piece of the Tree of life....or by a hero
But...that would never happen
I sighed,the best thing I could do now was try to sleep.So I closed my eyes and waited for slumber to absorb me.
Y/n's POV:
You reach a greyish-green cave by itself,surrounded by trees.It was confusing how it seemed like the cave wanted to be hidden away.Being your curious self,you decide to enter the cavern.Your eyes dazzled as you walked further inside
There was lots of dark green stalagmites and stalactites in the cave,though it seemed pretty empty.You walked further until you reached a clearing.
A part of the floor was glowing green crystals...but what was on top of it surprised you even more
It was a grey shape...that if you looked long enough was acually a very grayish-pink.He looked to be asleep...but from his facial expression you could see a bit of sadness.After you think about it for awhile,you decide to speak up.
"Hello?..." You spoke with a bit of nervousness in your voice,it was always a struggle to talk to new people.
He seemed to hear you,as he looked up at you with a bit of a startled expression.His expression soon turned into a mean one that was somewhat forced.
"What do you want..." His voice seemed to dominate the silent cave he rested in
His voice made you jump a bit,though,you soon caught your thoughts again.
"W-What are you doing in this cave by yourself....s-sir?"
He paused...getting silent for awhile.
"...I'm stuck here...a curse has bounded me to this place.Why are you here anyways?"
"Well...I wanted to see what was here!" You lied,not wanting to seem like an idiot.
"I'm surprised your not scared...haven't they told you about me?"
"Well...not really...",you paused,"...but I don't really see how you're all that bad..."
"You...don't think of me as a monster?" He asked,almost stunned by your answer.
"Of course not! You seem pretty nice honestly." You smiled,though you were still confused on why he was even called that in the first place.
He smiled,a small tear formed in his eyes
"Finally...someone who doesn't think of me like that.Thank you,kind....human?"
"Oh! Call me Y/n!....and you are?"
"Blix,it's nice to meet you...
...friend."
You smiled,he must have been lonely here....and hey!...you don't mind another friend.
The two of you ended up chatting for most of the night,heading back home before sunrise so the others wouldn't question where you were.Blix asked you to come back again tomorrow...and you knew you were going to head back to that small cave.That shape would be lonely no longer as long as you were there!
Blix's POV:
That...human..
They understand me
They care for me
...and they're the first and only friend I've had.
I must do the same for them
I can't stand to loose them...
I'll do everything I can to protect them
