It was a year after the accident took place, we all haven't seen or talked to each other in that year. I was excited to see everyone again, but at the same time, I had a gut-wrenching feeling that I shouldn't go. The house we were going to is on the Zodiac estates not too far from Wayne estates. It was a beachside house wasn't too far from all the corruption, but far enough. After the death of my best friend, I'm not sure how I feel. After all, they caused her to go out that day. Maybe if I had been more forceful to tell them no . . . Maybe she wouldn't be. . .

She ran out of the house she seemed angry or least upset. I still don't know exactly what happened that fateful day, and I just might never know.

After the bus ride of trying to wrestle with my feelings, I finally came to my stop. I got off meeting up with Cindy, she's a friendly girl who really is more like a follower. But she'll help from time to time. If you tell her you wanna do something, she jumps on board no questions.

Cindy smiled at me, "Hey how have you been I've missed you."

I forced a smile, "Oh I'm okay. They said they would meet us up there. Let's not make them wait. It's too cold out here anyways." She nodded then together we walked to the house. For some odd reason, I was getting the feeling that someone was watching us.

You know it might just be me being paranoid. After all, I haven't been back here since that day.

We finally reached the house. I knocked on the door. Edward opened the door for us. He was a nice guy but you could pressure him into something he might not normally do. We walked in and he closed the door behind us. The three of us walked into the living room where everyone was at.

Adriana was kissing Dean. Adriana was the bitchy friend that made those low blows and was always getting in trouble or picking fights.

That I pull her out of most of the time

Dean was the football jock. Nice sometimes but loved to pick on people, sometimes would pull pranks that may seem funny to some but were actually mean. He is Emily's bother and ever since he's been quiet, not like his usual self ever since her death.

Tim was trying to get the fire started. He's always thinking of others first. He s also really kind, I know he was an acrobat and Bruce Wayne was helping him with financial support for his dream but that's about all I know.

We all have been friends since almost grade school. However, no one was close to Em (Emily) as I was. I took her the hardest right next to Dean, but I guess for him he got some good out of it.

I smiled walking over to Tim who was still trying to get the fire started. "Hey, try not to lite the house on fire. Okay?" I said to him sarcastically.

"Hey, if anyone were to light the house on fire would be you," Adriana said rudely. Tim smiled looking at me. "I'll try not to." Sounds like the peanut gallery just got ignored. Cold.

"Alright well if I stay down here any longer I'm gonna freeze, so if it's all the same to you. I'm going to take a bath." Tim went back to the matches. "Alright tell if you need anything." I grabbed my bag and walked up the stairs to the bathroom. Dean followed me up.

"Hey," I turned to look at him as I set my bag down on the bathroom counter. "I just wanna thank you for coming. I know she would be happy that you came."

I looked down remember Em, with her happy personality. "Don't worry about it. I'm here if you need anything, really."

He nodded and walked out of the bathroom closing the door behind him. I turned on the bath, waiting until the water got warm to close the drain.
