I opened my eyes, I was in a white room, no furniture, no windows, just a red door. The door swung open, it was brighter then the sun reflecting off of snow. There was a silhouette of a person, it was facing me. I saw no facial features, only green piercing eyes that glistened as tears fell down their face. I stood up "who are you" I tried to speak but my voice was gone as I tried to unveil the black hood, which spoke with no words, their lips read "how could you, I loved you Esmèe..". The tears continued falling. I tried to approach them but they ran down the empty white halls. I tried chasing after them. The further I ran down the halls the dirtier it became, stained with hand marks and splatters of dried metallic crimson. I could see them slowly fade away as the lights went dark.

"WAIT!" I shouted, my eyes opened to a familiar room, I was in my room and I quickly sat up and there they were, sat at the end of my bed. Max and Hanna. They were holding hands?

"ESMÈE!" Hanna jumped on top of me with a bear hug, she trembled in my arms. "I'm so sorry for getting you involved in this! What happened?!" She started crying "I'm so sorry.."

I'm that moment confusion filled my world; why was Hanna apologising?! She has never apologised to anyone, not even when she was in the wrong. She kicked her own father in the balls because he 'pissed her off' because he wouldn't give her an extra $100 and she still didn't apologise for practically making him infertile.

I looked at max as I cuddled his girlfriend, his eyes as cold as ice. I tried sending him a warm smile but he didn't return that gesture.

"What are you going on about?" I asked Hanna "why are you apologising?"

Hanna looked at me, I took my gaze off of max and met with Hanna's expressionless eyes. I tried reading her facial expression but this time I wasn't able to read it at all, which was unusual because all her life I've been able to read her emotions from a glance.

Hanna, she was always a bubbly, outgoing, popular type of girl. A girl every female student in the school wanted to be like. She was an idol, a princess. She was tall, thin and beautiful with shoulder length spirals of honey, long and thick eyelashes, blue eyes that looked like ice, skin of ivory with an hourglass figure. I was always jealous of her because me? I had long, straight brown hair that's started to creep below my ass, slightly tanned skin as my late mother was Spanish, I had dull brown eyes, full lips and a small nose which had a cluster of freckles adorned all over itself and cheeks. I had plenty of piercings on and around my face, whereas Hanna had no imperfections and only her loves pierced. She was perfect, too perfect. I cannot see why max cheated on her with me. It was like being with a goddess but cheating on her for an earth nymph. Nobody should ever do that.

"I shouldn't have brought you into this, I'm sorry... there is something I should tell you... somebody is trying to m-" Hanna got interrupted by a knock on my door, followed by my older brother Leonardo raising his eyebrow "what happened to no guys in your room?" He glared intensely at Max, obviously hinting at him then continued to say "also, dad wants to see you, he seems pretty pissed" as he left my room and didn't close my door. Everything I've ever done played through my memory, like my first cigarette when I was 14 to all the parties I snuck out to be at.

"One second guys, just going to see what my dad wants" I sighed as I crawled out of bed, out of my room, walking down the empty hallway towards the study room. "What's up dad? Leonardo said you was pissed" my father looked up at me from under his laptop "I want to know what this is" my father demanded in a stern tone, holding a letter. I walked up to him, taking the letter from his hand. I stared at it, wide eyed. Who? How? Who knew about this and how did they find out?! I fumbled, trying to talk just to be interrupted "don't try explaining. The police will be over soon. You have lost your drivers privilege along with your phone. You will go to and from school by me driving you along with I will have your phone before you go to school and after school finishes when I come and collect you. That is all, get out of my sight"
