To say that they feel sad was an understatement because they let a chance like that slip. Especially james he feels like that he's there having it. So near yet so far.
"Let's just go to the mall?" Alexandria suggested
"Yes I wanna eat out my frustration right now." James said to his friends
The three then proceeded going to the mall to do whatever they want before the night falls.
On the other side. Jacob was so thankful that a cute stranger found his precious book he doesn't have the chance to ask his name though but he could care less about it because his book was on the safe place now.
"Is that the book?" Off asked
"Ye this was it. I'm hooked in it for the past few days and I'm still at the middle part of it I don't want to be cliffhanged." Jacob stated
"Psh bookworm." Gun said boringly
They continue chatting until Jacobs phone rang.
"Yes Kuya Alex?" Jacob ask his brother
"Cancel all your appointments we will have a dinner dad's gonna be home today. We have to go home early." Alexander replied
"Okay okay be there at 5." Jacob said then drop the call
"Hey guys I'm leaving family matters see you tommorrow." then he runs to the parking lot
"Is it me or Jacob have been running all day today?" Arm asked the two
Both Gun and Off looked at each other then shrugged.
After a few minutes the brothers arrived at their house then eventually changes to a casual wear so they can have the dinner.
"The dinner went fine everything today went fine." Jacob thought to himself he's so tired today that he decided to sleep than to read the book
As for James he went home a bit late. But he could careless because both of his parents are working their ass off for his future and always going home late and leaving early.
"My day went fine but it would be perfect if I get a chance to know the name of that handsome guy." He thought before going to sleep because he's too tired on his first day.
