Both jacob and james were bothered about the informations they got today. 
Both of them really wants to try lucid dream wondering if it's true or just people being too imaginative. But do have different reasons for not doing.

James was so scared at risking anything.

Jacob wants to know more before going. 

So they both decided to go the internet and seek for people who has experienced or is just curious as them.

They go to the different platforms of social media and they can't find anyone who fits their standards. Not until they pushed their last will then go to twitter.

Fate has played his part here as they both find each other and exchange conversations about their knowings unaware that they both meet each other personally.

They kept on talking to each other until midnight. Too fond with each others company that they lost their sense of time.

The next day james told his friends about his new found friend in twitter and his friends were just happy as him. They knew james will not bother them anymore because he has found someone liking his interest.

Jacob on the other note doesn't tell his friends because he knew that his friends was to busy to care about something so small. He can be happy himself.
