Chapter 47 DAD?

Author's POV

They were having a nerve-wrecking confrontation with heavy revelations when they heard someone spoke.

"Dad? Is he your Dad?!"

Jeongyeon turned around and saw who it was.

It was Nayeon. She was standing in front of the door the whole time. When Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung barged into JYP's office, the door wasn't fully closed.

"Na-.. Nayeon ..", Jeongyeon stuttered as she was shocked by the unexpected occurence. - Nayeon was there. Nayeon heard everything. "Let me explain ..", she added.

"Explain?", Nayeon chuckled sarcastically. "You know what? It feels like you're not the person I know. I don't know if you've ever been honest with me. Even your love for me can be a lie.", Nayeon said. She turned back and walk away, restrained herself from crying.

Jeongyeon wanted to follow Nayeon but she want to leave her alone for now. She knew how Nayeon was feeling the moment she heard the unexpected truth they were hiding for a long time.

"Are you happy now?", Jeongyeon asked her Dad. "You know what? It was a big mistake for me to think about working here without any personal interest, and only to work with you because I thought maybe it's about time to help you with this company. I was wrong.", she added.

"Jeongyeon, I'm sorry.", JYP said.

Jeongyeon grabbed Chaeyoung's hand and left the office. They exited the building, got into the car and stayed there for a while.

"Chaeyoung-ah, go to Mina and tell her what happened. Be honest with her. Don't be like me. See what happened? Do not hide the things that must be put out for the world to know.", Jeongyeon said. "Just take me home and go to her.", she added.

Chaeyoung hugged her Unnie. She took Jeongyeon home and immediately went to her girlfriend.

As she was on her way, she texted Mina that she will go to the venue and they need to talk for a while. Mina replied after 30 minutes and said she only have 1 hour break before starting again. Chaeyoung's estimated time was 20 minutes before arriving at the venue. When Chaeyoung arrived, she quickly told Mina what had happened and she can't even look at Mina while talking.

"Have you thought about leaving me?", Mina asked.

Chaeyoung looked down and nodded.

"I'm sorry. He told me that it's the best for you. That it would benefit you a lot if I break up with you.", Chaeyoung explained.

"You did not do it, so it's okay. I'm sorry if I kept about the media play. I thought it would be better to tell you when the filming of the drama ends. I am confident with myself that I won't allow anything they want to happen, especially if that would cause to lose you in my life.", Mina said. "I don't care if everyone knows about our relationship. I am willing to admit that I love you so much.", she added.

"Mina, let's not keep a secret to each other anymore. Let's be honest to fix the problem right away.", Chaeyoung said and looked at Mina. "Btw, Jennie Unnie told me that there's someone hitting on you. Is that your co-actor that she's talking about?", she asked.

"Yes. But I know already why, so don't worry.", Mina smiled. "Hm .. when did you meet Jennie and why did she know about it?", Mina asked.

"I don't know, actually. She just told me."

Chaeyoung also told Mina that Jennie confessed her love to her but that love was all in the past.

Jeongyeon's POV

I still can't believe what happened. I have the intension of telling her the truth but when I'm ready and when I already forgive myself.

I will leave her alone for today but tomorrow, I will try to explain everything to enlighten her.

I hate myself for being coward when it comes to telling the truth. Maybe it's karma to me because of all the mistakes I've done in the past.

In fact, I understand that Dad was hurt because I prefer to work in his company because of a woman and not because of him. I didn't even think I would fall for his artist. It was not my fault that I fell in love with Nayeon.

Now I have to apologize to all the people I've hurt.

I apologized to Jackson before but I know that a one-time apology was not enough.

I also have to apologize to Dad because I made him feel that other people were more important to me than him. It was my fault but he should have focused just on me.

And of course, to Nayeon. I have to apologize to the person who loved me more than I could ask for.

Tomorrow I will go to her house immediately and I will ask for forgiveness. I want her to know the story from the beginning, all sides.

Author's POV

When Nayeon got home, Daniel saw her and knew immediately that something was wrong. His noona was crying again. He even thought that Nayeon would soon be okay but he was wrong.

Nayeon entered her room immediately and shouted for the anger and pain she was feeling.

"I have suffered several time in my life. Do I need to get hurt again?!", Nayeon shouted while inside the room. "Do I really deserve this, huh?! Is the world punishing me?!", she added.

Daniel heard all of Nayeon's anger but could do nothing to make Nayeon feel better. He was also crying because he felt so sorry for her.

"Noona, just hold on. Everything will be alright. The world will make you happy too, just wait for that time.", Daniel was talking to his Noona in his mind. "I'm about to leave again. I hope you will be okay as soon as I am next to you. Noona, you don't deserve that. -all the pain and anger that you feel right now. But I also understand that being hurt is just a part of Love, so just hold on ..", he added.

Nayeon had fallen asleep because of crying.
