Chapter 49 LET'S SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN

After a few days, Jeongyeon still tried to talk to Nayeon repeatedly but she still failed.

One night, Jeongyeon tried again and for the first time they were able to talk. Nayeon came out of her house where Jeongyeon was waiting.

"Nayeon-ah ..", Jeongyeon spoke.

Nayeon walked towards Jeongyeon.

"What do you want?", Nayeon asked.

"Just give me a chance to explain my side. Please ..", Jeongyeon's face could be seen pleading.

"I'll give you a chance but you have to be honest in everything you have to say."

"I promise .."

"Go ahead. I will listen."

"Nayeon-ah, I'm sorry. I didn't know that my Dad used you because of me. I had no idea about that media play. But again, I am sorry. I am the reason why our lives are so messy right now. Please, forgive my Dad. He is a good man. He just did that because of me. I know he's still selfish no matter what I say and no matter what reason we'll give. But please, forgive him."

"Jeongyeon-ah, he is easy to forgive and understand. What I don't understand is why you lied to me? Why did you hide something important to me?" Nayeon asked.

"Because I'm scared ..", Jeongyeon answered.

"Scared of what?!"

Nayeon turned around and entered the house. Jeongyeon did nothing to stop her.

Jeongyeon turned around too and kicked the wheel of her car out of anger. And then she went home. When she got home, her sisters were in her room.

"Unnie, what happened?", Chaeyoung asked.

"We were able to talk but she was still angry at me.", Jeongyeon answered.

"What are you doing to do, Unnie?", Tzuyu asked.

"I have apologized to her and I think I already did my part. I will give her a letter so that I can say everything, and then I'll let her go.", Jeongyeon answered.

Two days later, 7:37PM, Jeongyeon handed the letter to Daniel. That's the last thing she'll do and she will stop bothering Nayeon at all.

Jeongyeon returned home immediately and lay down on her bed while her sisters were watching Television. She was about to sleep when she suddenly received a text message.

FROM: Nayeon

Jeongyeon, I've read your letter for me. I forgive you but let's see each other again. Let's meet tonight at Seoul Café, 9:30pm.

Jeongyeon's eyes suddenly widened as she read the text message from Nayeon. She quickly got up from bed and got dressed. It was obvious to her that she was overjoyed.

"Tzuyu-ah, do what makes you happy.", Jeongyeon randomly said. "Dahyun-ah, I'm so proud of you but don't overwork yourself.", Jeongyeon kept saying random things because of how happy she was. "And Chaeyoung-ah, always be honest. Okay?", she added.

"Unnie, what's happening? Why do you seem so happy all of a sudden? And where are you going at this hour?", Chaeyoung asked.

Jeongyeon smiled widely.

"I'll go to Seoul Café. Nayeon wanted to see me and she forgive me already.", Jeongyeon proudly answered.

Her sisters were really shocked and happy for her at the same time.

"Go ahead, Unnie. Go!!", Dahyun cheered for her Unnie.

Jeongyeon came out of the room and ran. He suddenly bumped into her father.

"Dad, I'm sorry. I'm in a hurry. But as soon as I get home, we will talk. I'm sorry again.", she ran again and looked back at her Dad, "I love you!", she shouted.

As she entered her car, she turned the music on and sing along with the song.

Nayeon's POV

After I read the letter that she gave me, I made up my mind to forgive her.

We all make mistakes. The important thing is that she apologized and knew she was wrong. After all, nobody's perfect.

Now, I'm really excited to see her again. I'm excited to hug her and tell her how I love and missed her. That's why I'm already here at the café when it's just 9:10pm in the evening. This café is 24/7 so I can wait until tomorrow. Just kidding, it's not 24 hours.

9:30PM passed but Jeongyeon still had not arrived. Maybe it's traffic. It's snowing outside.

I was patiently waiting for Jeongyeon when someone called me. It's Chaeyoung.

C: Unnie, where are you?

M: I'm at Seoul Café. Jeongyeon and I will meet here. Why?

C: Unnie ..

M: Why? Are you crying? Why are you crying, Chaeyoung-ah?

C: Jeongyeon Unnie .. is .. dead.
