The Losers were all squeezed into Mike's car at nine in the evening after they went to look around Derry for a few hours. The car ride was a little rowdy, but Richie didn't really mind that much. He just kept to himself most of the ride, but he did contribute when he wanted to. His phone vibrated in his pocket and he looked at the cracked screen. It was from Eddie Spaghetti in his contacts.

"Hey Richie, are you visiting today or what? It's late"

Richie felt like he wanted to jump out of the car right then and there and run to Eddie, but he obviously couldn't do that. He'd look like a psychopath from an action movie jumping out of a moving car. The message Eddie back in almost lighting speed with a witty comment.

"Awh do you miss me Eds? That's so cute x <3"

Eddie opened the message straight away and looked at it for a few seconds before a reply came flying in.

"Shut up Richie, are you coming or not? I'm bored."

"Later. Mike wanted us to go out as a group somewhere. I have no idea where he is taking us and how long we'll be. Sorry Eds. I will come cya later so hang in there (thumbs up emoji)"

Richie put his phone away in his pocket and carried on chatting with the others. They were asking about each other's job. Beverly was saying that she was a fashion designer and Ben was saying how he was a famous architect. People would ask if he built this and this and somebody he'd say yes and sometimes he'd say no.

The ride felt long but it was only about twenty minutes. Mike pulled up to what looked like a bar. The group stepped out of the car and walked inside. It was full of people. The group managed to get a table and they all sat down, and Mike went up to the bar to buy the drinks for everybody.

Richie stayed for about an hour before he became extremely fidgety. He couldn't sit still, and Beverly noticed. Her eyes looked at Richie before he moved her head towards the door.

"Is he waiting for you, Richie?"

Richie nodded. His palms sweating. Money was placed in front of him and he looked up at Beverly, confused.

"Go get a taxi. He's been alone all day. He must miss you."

He quietly thanked Bev and ran out of the bar and she turned to Mike, yelling to him not to worry about getting Richie another drink because he had ran out of the bar already.

Richie stopped a Taxi and jumped in. Giving him the money and telling the driver to drive to the hospital and "make it snappy" he said. Making the driver roll his eyes but he tried to comply.

The drive between the bar and the hospital was a quiet one but it wasn't like Richie cared. Like he ever cared. He pulled out his phone and messaged Eddie as fast as his fingers could. Making sure to let Eddie know he was on his way.

"I'm on my way Eddie my love. No need to be lonely anymore x <3"

The message was seen straight away. As if Eddie had been looking in their chat, waiting for Richie to message him. It made Richie's heart jump and he smiled gently as Eddie's message came in just as fast as Richie's was sent.

"Finally, I've been waiting for you Trashmouth god x"

Richie's cheeks turned a red. He took his glasses off and rubbed the lenses to make sure he was looking at the right thing. Suddenly, another message popped up in their chat. Richie's heart stopped and he huffed in disappointment. His face looking extremely disappointed.

"Ignore the x it was a typo also don't send me a kiss and a heart after a text you weirdo anyway I'm waiting so hurry your slow ass"

Richie chuckled at the last part of the message. Around ten more minutes past and he jumped out of the taxi and ran inside of the hospital and run up the stairs to Eddie's ward.
