Richie left the building quietly. The sky was dark, and the breeze was cold Richie let out a deep and long sigh. Sitting down on a bench, he began to think. Think about how the hell he was going to get home. As Richie started to think, he heard a car honk in the car park, and it startled him. He looked up and saw Mike in his car waiting for him. The curly haired male smiled and walked over to the parked car. It was a black car. It wasn't big, it looked like Skoda, but Richie couldn't really tell since it was so dark. Mike rolled down his window before talking to Richie. His body leaning out of the car slightly.
"Need a ride, Tozier?"
"You bet, Hanlon."
Richie jumped into the car next to Mike. A sigh leaving his body once more as Mike started to drive. The Losers had decided to stay at Mike's since none of them even thought about bringing money with them and a Mike was the only one that stayed in Derry after all this time. The car journey was quiet. Richie's eyes were lurking outside through the rolled-up window and Mike's eyes were clearly on the quiet Derry road.
"Are you worrying, Richie?"
Richie paused, scoffing at Mike's statement. His eyes rolling before looking over at him.
"Now why would you think that I'm worried? About who, Eddie? God no I know that he'll be fine. It's Eddie Kaspbrak for god sake, he'll survive a fucking nuclea-
"Beep beep, Richie."
The car went silent for a few moments before Richie quietly apologised about blabbering on. Mike smiled and took one hand off the wheel to ruffle Richie's hair. His hand quickly returning to the wheel after. It was silent in the car for another minute or so before Richie began to speak again. His tone was soft and almost brittle.
"Yeah, how can I not be worried, Mike? He nearly died..."
His voice grew softer at the end. His face dropped from the confident Richie Tozier to a sad and almost frightened Richie Tozier. Mike wasn't used to it. Even when they were defeating Pennywise, Richie was frightened but... but this was different. This was a different kind of fear and Mike had never seen Richie display it before.
It was silent for the rest of the way to Mike's house ad when they parked up outside, neither of them got out of the car. Mike turned to Richie and patted his shoulder gently as Richie fiddled with his hands.
"He's beginning to heal. I know he's delicate, but he'll get through this, alright? You don't need to worry, Tozier."
Richie nodded and the two got out of the car. Making their way to the door but before they could open it, Beverly had beaten them to it. A soft smile appeared on her pale skin as she looked at the two men in front of her, but her expression soon turned surprised as she saw Richie. She moved out of the way so the two could walk in before she started question why Richie came here with Mike.
"So, you went to get Richie? That's why you were gone for so long."
"Yeah, I was waiting for him in the car park for a while."
Richie paused as he listened in on the two's conversation.
"Wait, you were waiting for me a for a while? How long?"
Mike just shrugged his shoulders since he didn't know himself how long he had been waiting for. Beverly chuckled a little at Richie's concern before she walked back upstairs and the two followed her. They walked into a large room where Bill and Ben were sitting down and talking between either. They turned as the door opened and instead of one person walking in or even two, three people walked in. The two waved and greeted Richie and Richie did the same before sitting down on a chair near the group. They all looked a Richie before Ben spoke up.
