“Don’t drown Pie, don’t drown!” Just a few minutes ago I was happily living in my cloud and I was a normal water molecule. I would go to thunder games and mow my cloud. One day I decided to have a party, and I didn’t know the risks. Too many molecules came and visited and my cloud got too heavy. Eventually my cloud gave out, thrusting my friends and I away to the Pacific Ocean.
I started waving my arms trying to stay afloat, when I remembered what I learned in school. Dont panic, water can’t drown. So I made myself stop panicking and I decided to find some company. I swam for 3 hours letting the wind push me, and eventually I started to evaporate. I never quite made it to a cloud though.
I floated for 3 days in the atmosphere. One day I found myself condensing onto grass. I felt as if I could stay on the grass forever but I eventually fell off the grass and found my way to some other water molecules.
“Where am I?” I asked the two molecules. “This is mount fuji, in Japan!” they replied, and they explained how they had been frozen in snow their whole lives and just recently had became runoff. I was astonished because I had never really thought how boring it would be living in a snow bank, just chilling all day. I also told them my story. That was when we started to freeze.
