The freeze only lasted a few days, and many more molecules came to join us on our ice puddle. Finally we were melted by some mountain runoff and flowed into a stream. It was not long until we flowed into a river. I traveled for what seemed like days. Finally on my 5th day in the river I made it to a nice lake. It was a warm lake and I met a few of my old water molecule friends from my cloud there. I was especially happy to see my old BFF Mollie and her sister, Water Molly, who we called Wall-e. We played tag and spent almost all of our time together. But these happy days didn’t last.
Finally there came a day when Mollie, Wall-e and I decided to depart from each other before nature pulled us apart. Wall-e and Mollie were going to evaporate, and I decided to infiltrate the soil. Finally the day came when I had to become groundwater. It was a sad day. I traveled in an underground tunnel, where I saw many creepy molecules. This frightened me very much. One day I reached the end of the tunnel. There was a steep drop. I decided to slide to the bottom.
It was too late when I realized where I was. The much dreaded well. Millions of cramped molecules with no way out. There was no evaporation down here. I needed to think of a way out! “Think Pie, think!” I told myself. And thats when the master plan hit me!
