CHAPTER 9

Angela's POV

So, how did you end up here in Korea" Chan yeol asked on our way to the library.
"I actually love Korea and it's culture ever since I was little so I ended up in SNU on scholarship"
"Wow! You are a smart student then" he said and I chuckled.
He has no idea how lazy I get when it comes to reading

"I know yoongi may appear cold and rude from the start but he's a nice person. He has gone through a lot, he keeps that facade just to protect himself from getting hurt"
"I know channy, everyone has a story to tell, I'm trying to understand where he's coming from" I replied.

Silence followed afterwards then we finally got to the library. We parted ways cause we needed to do our different business. I headed to the shelf to search for the books I needed for my assignment, after that I set my phone to do not disturb then I went to sit with Chan yeol. We studied together for what seems like hours till Chan yeol asked.
"Let's have dinner, I'm hungry. We have been studying for hours now."
That would be a no,no cause I actually have plans with RM this evening, I really wish I could have dinner with him but it's just not going to happen.
"I'm sorry Channy, I've got plans. Let's have a meal some other time"there was a look of disappointment on his face after I said that. I feel sorry for turning him down but I can't ditch RM. Chan yeol seem like a really nice guy, free spirit, we act like we have known each other for ages. Something about him just clicked the moment I met him.
"It's alright, there's no need to feel bad about it. Just be careful around"
" Alright, thanks for understanding" he smiled than we started gathering our belongings.
I checked my phone just to see missed calls from RM.

I and chanyeol headed out of the library and we said our goodbyes. I called RM back to and he told me he was ready.

" Hey Angie, let's get going" he RM said with a smile on his face.

We both walked to the school's parking lot in silence before he stopped close to a Mercedes.

"RM, we are eating dinner at a close diner right?" I asked hoping it would be a close diner cause I wasn't really familiar with places in Korea and I could easily get lost which I don't want.

" Yeah, it's going to be a close one near campus" he replied.
As if he read my mind he then asked
"You aren't really familiar with places in Seoul right?"
"Yup! I haven't, I will still try and find time to enjoy the city, college has gotten me worked up" I said then we got into the car.

In some ways I'm starting to think if I made the right decision in going with RM for dinner, we haven't really known ourselves for up to twenty four hours he could try and abduct me, yoongi was right in some ways calm down woman! There's no harm in making new friends don't allow yoongi get in your head my subconscious said.

The ride was silent until RM decided to talk

"So, how did you end up here in Korea? Have you been staying here for long?" He asked, his eyes were fixated on the road, well I ain't complaining except he wants to get us killed.
" I'm here on scholarship, I have not been here long" I replied
"Alright you seem like the smart type" he commented.
I get that compliment from people all the time but trust me when I say I don't feel smart at all .

He finally halted at a restaurant that looks really fancy.
"Hey! I thought it was a close by diner, I wasn't ready for a date" I said in a confused voice. How was I supposed to fit in a restaurant where being underdressed
" Angela you don't need to worry about that, we are just having dinner, no big deal" I rolled my eyes at him.
" If you say so, but I'm quite hungry anyways" I said
He looked at me with amusement in his eyes
"Okay then, let's go eat" he said and then we walked into the restaurant.
