midnight memories - zach herron

Chapter 12

-Bella's pov-

I calmed down a bit and Jack walks over to us with a letter in his hands.

"I've found something"

He gives the letter to me, I was about to open it when someone knocked on the door. I flinched and Zach rubs my back, as Jack opened the door.

"Oh my god Bells, what happened?" Anna says walking over to me, Zach lets me go and Anna gives me a hug.

"Someone broke in, and Jack just found a letter" As I said letter Anna looked at me weird, then I realized what she was thinking. It might've been the same person that wrote the letter this morning.

"Why are you two looking at each other like that?" Jack asks

"Well this morning when we got home I also got a letter" I answer him grabbing the letter out of my purse and handing it to him.

He reads the letter and looks at me.

"Why didn't you tell me this straight away?" Jack asks while walking over to me

"I didn't think it was a big deal" I say looking at the ground.

He pulls me in a hug, I hug him back.

"You can tell me everything you know that right" He said looking at me, I nod and give him a small smile.

"I'm not following" Zach says, causing me to smile. I hand him the letter and while he reads it I see the worry in his face.

"Don't ever hide this from us again" He says giving me a quick hug.

"I won't, but here we have another one" I say holding up the letter Jack found earlier. I start shaking a bit, Anna notices and she puts her arm around me. She reads it out loud.

"Too bad you weren't home, I hope you will be next time I'm coming around ;)"

"You're going to stay with me and the boys for a while, no discussion" Jack says

"Yeah, I don't want to be alone now"

"Come lets pack you some things" Anna says and we walk to my bedroom while Zach and Jack put some things back where they were.

"Do you mind if I just go home tonight? I don't feel like staying with the boys again" Anna asks me

"Go home, I'll be fine. I'm with five guys so I'll be safe and probably also very entertained" I say with a laugh

"If something's wrong call me and I'm picking you up ok?" Anna says

"Yessss, don't worry"

"And have fun with Zach tonight" She says winking

I shake my head and continue to pack my stuff, we walk back to the boys and I say goodbye to Anna.

"Shall we get going?" Jack asks

"Let me take one of your bags" Zach offers

"I can handle it"

"I want to, please" He looks at me with puppy eyes

"Fineeeeeeeeeee"

We walk downstairs and put my bags in the car. Jack is behind the weel, Zach in passengers seat, and I'm in the back seat. We're talking about some random things until we reach the house.

"I called the others already to let them know you're staying for a while. I also told them why if you don't mind" Jack says

"Oh it's fine, they can know but I'm not feeling like everyone needs to know this. Just you guys, Anna and Gabbie" I answer him
