Chapter 24

-Bella's pov-

"Where do you want to go first?" I ask him while looking at our hands with a smile on my face, our fingers still interwined.

"How about the ferris wheel?"

"Sure"

We start walking and when we get there, Zach pays for the both of us.

"You didn't have to pay for me"

"Of course, I asked you out, I'm paying"

"Thank you, you're too sweet"

It's our turn and we sit down, that's where I start to get nervous.

"Have I ever told you I'm terrified of heights?"

"What? Bells you should've told me"

"I'll be fine"

"You sure?"

"Yesss"

We start moving up and I'm doubting myself now.

"Ok maybe I'm not fine"

Zach laughs and sneaks his arm around my waist, pulling me very close to him.

"We're not going to fall down"

"I hope not"

"We won't"

I can see he tries so hard not to burst out in laughter.

"That's what everyone says before they die, and you don't have to hold in your laugh"

"I'm sorry it's just funny to see you this scared"

"Yeah yeah yeah"

"Enjoy the view from up here"

I turn my head and see all the lights, it's really beautiful.

"Wow"

"I know right"

"It's gorgeous"

"Not as gorgeous as you are"

"So cheesy" I say playfully bumping into him, and then putting my head on his shoulder.

We reached the top and we stop there.

"Still scared?"

"Not really"

"Good"

He puts his other arm also around me and holds me tighter.

"Thank you, Herron"

"For what?"

I turn my head to look at him

"Tonight, I really love it"

"You're welcome" He says with a smile
